'Study's rush sounds outwardly.

May the life of yogi be happy in the midst of conflict.

The studied tone is external sound

But covers up, thus in one party only

The yogi becomes happy by conquering all the fickleness of the mind.'

'Chittananda Tada Jitva Sahajananda Sambhava : .

Dosha Dukh Jara Vyadhi Kshudha Nidra Vivirjit : ..

Then by the instinct of subjective innerization of sound

Of the natural soul by conquering the acquired happiness

Happiness arises. Vata, pitta, kapha form dosha, sorrow, old age, disease, hunger and thirst, sleep become free from all these, the Yogi becomes self-happy.'

In the twenty-second verse of the tenth chapter of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, called 'Vibhuti Yoga', Lord Sri Krishna says - 'Vedana Samavedodsmi - I am the Samaveda in the Vedas.' Veda is knowledge and Sama is song. So Samaveda is the divine repository of knowledge of songs. Singing has a deep connection with emotion. Feelings are expressed in three ways - prose, verse and song. Any stream of knowledge is expressed through these means. God is the original source of Vedic knowledge. The validity and completeness of knowledge comes only when it penetrates to its original source - the place of origin. Yoga of spirit is necessary to reach God.

It has been said in the scriptures - 'Neither Kaashte Vidyate Dev:, nor Pashane nor Mrinmaye. Bhave hi vidyate dev :, Tasmat bhavo hi karanam.. God does not reside in a wooden idol, similarly neither does a stone or clay idol. Dev or God resides in the soul of the mind or heart, so create soul. Mantras were created in an effort to make the language meaningful. It was observed that verse has greater ability of bhava-syogam and bhava track than prose. The English poet William Wordsworth has also defined poetry and said - 'A Poem is the Spontaneous Overflow of Powerful Feelings and Emotion collected in Tranquility: A Poem is the Spontaneous Outpouring of Powerful, Overwhelming Feelings, and is the Spontaneous Overflow of Powerful Feelings and Emotions as an Attainment of Absolute Tranquility. .

When the Rishi Munis combined verse with chanting, the flow of spirit was more effectively and fully inaugurated. Gan mantras are especially glorified in the three Vedas, verse mantras, prose mantras and song mantras. The scriptures have said - swarena sanlliyate yogi - the yogi immerses himself in swara sadhana. Through Swara Yoga, Nada Yoga, the seeker attains Brahma, God. That is why it is said in Rigveda - Abhisvaranti bahavo manishino Rajanamsya bhuvansya nisate. (9-58-13) Many Manishis chant the Maharajadhiraj Bhagavan i.e. Paramattva Prata and through it attain Him i.e. God.

Another mantra of the Rigveda says that the contribution of singing to awaken the spirit of devotion which is necessary for the attainment of God is paramount. 'Swaranti tva sute naro waso nirek ukthin : ... . O disciple! You have come to me for your spiritual upliftment. I preach to you God. If you cry out to Him with music to receive Him, will He appear in the cave of your heart and bestow His love on you?' (8-33-2)

Sages engrossed in the pursuit of the visible-invisible effects of music attain miraculous powers and yogic achievements that are unimaginable through the Swara-Shakti. The Samaveda contains the subtle secrets of divine musical power, the knowledge of which, if used, a human being can attain Amodha, immense self-empowerment.

Even Western scholars now accept the unimaginable miraculous effect of vocal power. Specialists state that different raga-raginis produce sound waves of infra sonic and ultra sonic levels which produce different results due to their intensity, melodiousness and harshness. Scientists Charles Kiel and Ogolicki have tested the effects of music with different melodic tones on psychiatric patients. By dividing the patients into two sections, the raga-raginis of Indian classical music were such as to provide enthusiasm, hilarity, exhilaration and happiness to a group. while another group was treated to exotic pop music. The result was that almost 80% of psychos who were exposed to Indian classical music recovered. While the group that was exposed to Western pop music, most of the psychopaths' condition worsened. He has discussed many such experiments and tests in his book 'The Musical Meaning'.

The famous physiologist Juliet Alvin conducted experiments on this subject. Summarizing his research, he wrote - 'Music has a great influence on our mind, brain, emotions, emotions and body.' Russian scientist Kudryavtsev shows that sound waves activate the endocrine glands and the chemicals released from them cause drastic changes in the psycho-physical state. British physiologist Dr. Edwina Mead and American physician Edward Podolsky have also said after their research that the sounds of music have therapeutic power.
