Data from users of two of the world's largest social media companies has leaked. According to the report, personal information of thousands of Facebook and Twitter users has been reached through third-party apps through the Google Play Store.
According to the researchers, One Audience and the Mobyburn Software Development Kit (SDK) have access to users' personal information, including the latest tweets, e-mail addresses and mobile numbers. On the other hand, Twitter and Facebook have informed their users about the data leak.
The microblogging site Twitter, in connection with this data leak, said in a post on its own, "We have recently come across a report stating that a suspected mobile software development kit called One Audience Maintained. We are informing our users about this, as this is our responsibility. '
On the other hand, a Facebook spokesperson said in a conversation with a leading tech website, "After investigation, we have removed these apps from our platform for policy violations. We have also written a letter to Mobyburn and One Audience.
