Different types of personality tests (interviews)

There are several types of personality tests conducted in public services. We discuss the main types:

(2) Fact-based interview: In this type of personality test various fact-based questions are asked of the candidate. The purpose is to test the candidate's memory.

(2) Interview based on concept or analysis: In this type of personality test, the candidate is not asked direct questions, instead he is given the opportunity to analyze or discuss any issues. Generally, controversial decisions of the government are put before them and their views or approaches are understood. In this type of interview, no direct question is right or wrong. The candidate's thinking, the power of rational discussion and a deep understanding of the challenges facing the country play a vital role here.

(3) Stressful Interviews: Sometimes board members try to test their strengths in working with a candidate. This is why candidates sometimes fight for trivial reasons or sometimes even act as abusive. But that does not mean that the candidate will fail the interview. The purpose of this type of personality test is to test a candidate's ability to withstand stress.

The interviewing board members know that a government official has to deal with the pressures of today. People's expectations from the government system are increasing day by day. Conducts such a test to test the candidate's ability in this situation. The candidate should not be disturbed by this transaction, but the power to respond politely should be developed. Attempts should be made to bring the members of the board in a relaxed mood by giving a gentle answer.

This kind of behavior of board members does not mean that you will get less marks! It is also sometimes seen that many good marks are given here by being influenced by a good looking candidate. Also, such a test is not usually conducted with the candidate who is the first time interviewing, but the test is used against the second or more frequent interviewer.

(2) Stress-free Interview: In some cases board members also conduct this type of test, which is quite contrary to the above. Here, board members are extremely helpful to the examiner and ask him questions politely. Sometimes if a candidate seems unlucky, it helps him mentally. Sometimes a speech like 'Beta' leads to intimate experiences. And to find out what is the best knowledge of the candidate.

Sometimes it happens that when a candidate is faced with a 'personality test' for the first time, if he is unable to express himself or herself, then start drinking and then give an interview. However, caution should be given to the candidate in this type of test. Sometimes the members of the board praise the candidate so as not to be fooled. The members of the board are very cautious and scrutinize the candidate's mistakes.

(2) Strange Interview: In this type of personality test, board members examine a candidate by behaving strangely. In which case sometimes board members appear to ignore the candidate. Sometimes it looks like being busy on mobile when asking a question. Sometimes board members or chairs talk about being too tired to be interviewed. Or, the chairman of the board leaves the interview board and leaves the candidature in the hands of other members. But if you do well then you get good marks. However, even at this time the student must maintain his / her mental balance.
