Sugar exports increased the possibility of breaking the record of twelve years

The year saw a departure from the sugar market in the country. Price remained under pressure in the first half of the year, but then the market rose again in the second half of the year, according to informants. In the latter part of the year there were reports that the demand for festivals and then the demand for weddings was good. In recent months, the demand for sugar has also increased in sugar, mill circles said.

Sugar prices have risen in the world market recently and as a result, India's malls have started to go higher. In this period, the demand for overseas was also raised in the sugar market in India due to the dollar raising against the currency market and the rupee weakening. The country has started a new sugar season from October 1 to October 1, and according to market sources, sugar mills have made deals of around 1 lakh tonnes for export of sugar across the coast in October and November and till December.

Sugar producers are showing at this stage that the total sugar exports from the country will increase to around 1 lakh tonnes in the entire season of 3-4, given that the new sugar season of 3-4 has started explosively on the export front.

"It is not surprising if the export ratio goes well above this figure," said an export broker. However, given the fact that this is just the beginning, exporting will depend on how the situation in the world market will be in the new year upwards, said one Miller.

Meanwhile, sugar exports from the country have increased recently. On the other hand, domestic sugar production has also come down. This has led to the high prices of the market. According to sources from the Indian Sugar Mills Association, which represents India's sugar-producing mills, sugar production has dropped by around 3 lakh tonnes in the country during the 2-3 months.

The production of sugar has decreased significantly in this period of two-and-a-half months this year, compared to the production of sugar at around 3 lakh tonnes in the previous sugar season of 2-3 years. This year, especially in Maharashtra and Karnataka, sugar production has fallen below expectations. According to the figures released in mid-December, the process of crushing has started in around 3 to 5 sugar mills in the country during the current year, a figure of about 3 to 5 mills in the same period last year.

In Maharashtra this year, around half a month, the production of sugar has dropped to around 3 lakh to 3,000 tonnes in the last one and a half months, market analysts said. This year, the rainy season in Maharashtra has been prolonged and flood-like conditions have been created in many areas.

This has affected the sugarcane crop and its effect on sugar production is now visible. Sugar mills have also been delayed in sugar mills this year in Maharashtra and Karnataka. Complaints are also coming from the mills that sugar recovery from sugarcane is also getting less this year. Consumers are now showing fears that domestic sugar production will decline by around 3-5% over the previous year, around 1 lakh tonnes, on a nationwide basis.

Sugar exports from the country increased to around 3 lakh tonnes in the last 2-3 years, and this year, exports will cross the surface and record a twelve-year break, according to global market analysts.
