The eyes of all animals, including man, are blinking. The eyelids above the eye are the most functioning element we do not know. On average, our eyes twinkle twelve times in an average of five seconds. The number of times I wink the eye when I am awake is amazing.
The eyelids also need to do this much work. The eyeball is a kind of lens. It has no blood vessels. So blood or oxygen is not available. Dust particles in the atmosphere need to be constantly cleaned by sticking them to the eyeball. The eyelids of the eye do this. There is a thin layer of fluid beneath the eyelid.
Which keeps the alchemy constantly wet so it can get oxygen directly from the atmosphere. Blinking of the eye is an involuntary action. If we do not wish to risk it, the eye may be closed. Thus the eyelids constantly protect the eyes by staying awake.
This is a remarkable thing about the eyelids of man. Camels that live in the desert have three-eyed eyelids. Polar bears have an extra eyelid on the eyes of polar bears. Ultraviolet interrupts late rays. Both of the hamster eyelashes twinkle simultaneously. Gian pigs are born with eyes open.
