It has been observed for a long time that people who are dieting or obese avoid eating rice. There is a belief that eating rice causes weight gain.

But the fact is different. According to dietitians, eating rice can make you feel full for longer. As a result you cannot eat anything else. Or you don't want to eat anything else. This way you are storing less calories in your stomach.

According to a well-known dietician, in India, traditionally, in the families of people who eat rice, when a person goes out of his house, he is sent only by eating sweet rice. Whether it's a school-going kid, a college-going teen, or a man at the office. The reason for this is that those who are traditionally accustomed to eating rice are satisfied with eating only rice. He further says that today many people have a keen awareness of the problem of cadmium. So they favor eating brown, red, black, white rice.

They say for this type of rice, all the nutrients contained in the nutrients that remain in the field when the unprocessed rice is grown. But when it is processed and made into polished rice, the protein, fiber, various types of vitamins, minerals, etc. are greatly destroyed.

Therefore, if eaten non-polished brown, red, black or wild rice, it can meet two thirds of our body's daily requirement of cereals. However, these types of rice taste very low prices. Therefore, those who eat rice made from polished rice, rather than the rice made from unprocessed rice, also get enough nutrients from it.

There are many benefits to eating rice. Rice does not contain sodium, cholesterol or gluten. Therefore, people with certain disorders can eat rice if they are not allowed to eat foods with such ingredients. There is no saturated fat or transfer. So eating rice reduces the risk of cholesterol rising. Also, it contains a lot of complex carbohydrates and starch, so that it is rich in energy.

Rice also has a good amount of fiber. Since rice is easy to digest, it is advisable to eat rice when there is a fever, acidity or stomach upset. Even diabetic patients do not suffer any harm if consumed in proportion. They should take green vegetable salads etc. with a little rice for a balanced diet.

However, dietitians also say that rice contains 15 types of vitamins and minerals. These vitamins - minerals include folic acid, vitamin B, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, etc.

So if brown, red, black or white rice is eaten, the person who gets all these nutrients in rice alone. But when it is polished, many of its ingredients are destroyed. So if you are eating white rice then it is necessary to take pulses, vegetables etc. with it.

Generally, housewives wash the rice until the water in the rice appears clean. In fact, washing the rice too often will also wash away the vitamin B in it. Therefore, washing rice three or four times is also sufficient. If you want to soak the rice before cooking, add some water to it. Cook the rice in the same water.

When the rice comes to be cooked and only the water is left in it, turn off the gas and cover the rice vessel. By doing so, the rice will automatically seg up with the steam inside it. And its nutrients will also be retained. Plus, it will not need to be moistened by adding cooked water to the rice.

When rice is cooked, the nutrients contained in the rice are discarded along with its moisture. But if you eat unprocessed rice, eating a few rice can fill the stomach. As a result you automatically eat less. And weight is also automatically controlled when food is taken down.
