The actor says that when Sajid Nadiadwala approached me for this action sequence, I understood how he wanted me to play a role. The director of the film, Ahmed Khan, told me his story or that I had agreed to act immediately.

The actor feels that his relationship with Tiger in 'Baaghi-1' is like mother-son. He says I'm Tiger's older brother in it. Even though I am weaker than she cares about me. Ritesh, who has played mostly central roles so far, has received less footage than Tiger in this movie. The actor has no regrets, though. He says how can each character get the same footage? Also in this action film I didn't have to do the action. Naturally, my role is relatively small.

It is worth mentioning here that Ritesh Deshmukh worked with Tiger's father, Jackie Shroff, in 'Housefull-2'. But this was his first film with Tiger. He says that Jackie loves me a lot. We have a very good relationship. Of course, Tiger works in a very disciplined way. It's too sweet.

Ritesh is now working on a film made on Shivaji Maharaj. He says that this heroic Maratha Maharaja will be directed in three languages, directed by Nagaraj, the creator of 'Sirat'. The actor further said that the shooting of the movie will start only this year. I wanted to work with Nagraj before 'Sairat' was released. The actor, recalling his Bollywood debut, says that in year 1, I started my career with 'Tujhe mary kasam'. During these years, I have become an artist. I have worked with franchises like 'Masti', 'Kya Kool Hain Hum' and 'Housefull.' He says that I once talked to Rohan Sippy about making another part of the film. But that has not been possible yet. I feel that some desires are never fulfilled.
