Tips and Tricks: Need to rename multiple files at once?

For some reason did you happen to have to rename a number of files in the computer? Generally, such a requirement may arise when all the names of the tourists are identical when uploading their photographs to the computer after a tour.

This is easy to do in Windows, thus ...

1. Open the folder in which you want to rename the files.

2. Select the files to be renamed. To select consecutive files, select the first file with the mouse, press the shift key and then click the last file with the mouse. First, last and all the files in between will be selected.

3. If you need to select a splash file, press the control key and select different files.

4. Now moving the mouse over the first file, right-click and select the 'Rename' option. For the first file, instead of pressing Enter key with something called Vacation, all the filenames will be renamed Vacation and their order will be displayed in parentheses behind each file, that is, the first file will be Vacation (1), the second file will be Vacation (2). And so forth.

5. If all the files in our work are properly named in this way, then it will be easier to do the search in the future.
