Dr. Krause was a German woman who came to India after hearing the name and fame of sage Vidyavijay Maharaj. He made Vidyadham of Shivpuri his permanent abode and assumed the name Subhadra Devi. Accepting the discipleship of Vidyavijay Maharaj, under his guidance Dr. Krause studied Jain philosophy in depth, and mastered languages such as Sanskrit and Prakrit. There was a hint of Jainism in his daily life.

Dr. Before Krause became an expert in Sanskrit and Prakrit, he had also mastered Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. Dr. Krause was fluent in more than fifteen languages. Dr. Hearing the reputation of Krause's knowledge, the then Maharaja of Gwalior appointed him to study his daughter Kamalaraj Shinde.

This work was made possible by the unparalleled devotion and faith of the Maharaja of Gwalior over Vidyavijaya Maharaj. Raj Mata of Gwalior had included Subhadra Devi in her personal staff. He died at a church in Poona when he died. Unfortunately, why didn't the Jain community finally save him?

Dr. Krause became highly respected in the aristocracy of the time for his simplicity and instincts. Dr. In a book written in Gujarati, Krause pays homage to his revered Guru Vidyavijay Maharaj in a book 'Jangalam Mangal': Devotionally devoting his whole life to the welfare of the school. Shri Vidyavijayji is the soul of the school. The guru and father of the students, the one who recommends the masters, is the one who loves and enhances the welfare of the entire institution. Despite fulfilling all the duties and limitations as a Jain sage, Vidyavijay Maharaj's revolutionary attitude was not overshadowed. He could sometimes give bitter medicine to the society through discourses to remove the vices of the society. He used to work for social reform even by whipping in moderate language if need be.
