Let's celebrate Dussehra ... by burning our disorders

- Enlightenment can also be taken from the story of Ravana

- Under Ravana's ego, Kailas went out to shake the mountain and Shivaji knocked down the mountain, so he cried and did penance for a thousand years. Freed, Garaj's husband became the owner of Mada again and started torturing him

This is Dussehra. The ten heads of Ravana are work, anger, passion, greed, lust, jealousy, irritable mind, the same intellect, mind and ego. Ravana's god-like father was sage Virshva and mother was Daitya. Ravana had acquired all the 5 arts. As a warrior he had mastery over all the virtues of Kshatriya and like Brahmanical knowledge he had memorized Vedas and Upanishads but not heart. Ravana was also the best astrologer. He wrote the rare book 'Ravan Samhita' on Hindu astrology. Not only that, he had a deep understanding in Ayurveda and political science.

Lord Shiva's seeker like him may not have been a god in those days. He was an accomplished musician and a good harpist.

Among the seven sages (Saptarshi) like Manasputra of Brahma, Rishi Pulasatya becomes his grandfather. It also gives an idea of Ravana's talent.

Ravana deer Sita but did not even touch it. When Ravana was an ardent knower of astrology, the question needs to be asked whether he himself must know by looking at his horoscope and planets that his mind may become corrupt and the burning of his city and its end will come. Why couldn't he introspect that ten fallen demons like Dashanan have made their home in it?

However, at present most of our citizens and leaders are of lower caste than Ravana and they have no right to burn Ravana. How many of us are in literacy, ability and Shivasanidhya like Ravana? The firecrackers set off for the burning of firecrackers in the idol of Ravana are really like leaving on our mind, chitta, mati and heart.

No matter how much you know about your future in advance, even if someone warns you, the true seeker and monk is to keep a constant eye on his senses and instincts.

Ravana is an excellent example of 'intelligence opposite to destruction'. When Ravana came up with the idea of depriving Sita of his knowledge of Vedas, Upanishads or scriptures, then what is the use of such a Pothi Pandit? Even if we start the story of Ravana by contemplating the character of Ravana rather than burning Ravana, Rama can be reunited. If we cannot learn what Rama says, then even a Siddhahastha Ravana like Ravana can get the knowledge of what can happen to the soul with the cover of Rajas and Tamas. Guru or knowledge is the lesson we learn from the experience of good or bad.

Today there are so many married lives, families, friends who have had their paradise-like world deserted because one of the ten vices, including ego, anger, pride, lust and greed, has let their minds and opinions get in the way. There are some who are not fond of money but prostitutes are their weakness. No one is at all interested in prostitution but he can go to any extent for power. No one is attracted to both but is fascinated by literacy and stage. Money is wasted to get fame, achievement, glory even by buying. Being a gambler but being number one in honesty. Even though he is wise, he is also drunk, so he respects Grihalakshmi.

That is why you can see that human beings with certain qualities in society have four qualities but three loopholes make them fall. In fact, even one hole is enough to sink a huge ship. Knowing and following it are two different poles. There are so many people in our country who have not read any of the great scriptures, scriptures, Gita or Ramayana, they have practiced God. Even if he has studied two or five books since he was illiterate, he has been able to reach the level of enlightenment through two or four folk literature duhas or bhajans.

He does not look at a prostitute and when the time comes, someone who has hurt her will make the one who hurt her look ugly. He gives half of his bread to another poor person or finally to a dog. Loyalty flooded the owner's coffers. Rama resides in someone's heart and Ravana in someone's heart. Ravana's character especially warns the authorities, intellectuals, seekers and pundits that mada, moha and ahankaar are the signs that you are traveling in a boat with holes. If Ravana was a knower of Vedas-Upanishads, today intellectuals, leaders like Ram-Krishna, Gandhiji, Sardar Patel, Vineba Bhave, Swami Vivekananda, Dr. Abdul keeps writing on Kalam.

The whirlwinds of lectures and webinars turn again but is it meant to just show how high they were? This is also a kind of ritual if the deities, saints, great men continue to chant the Aarti that they were so unique and extraordinary and then come out of the temples wearing sandals. This is also a kind of ritual. The program should have the right to ask what you have learned from this verse, philosophy or character. Which aspect has the most impact on you? It is not the inactivity of the intellectuals but the hypocrites and the citizens who are overwhelmed by 'Medicare' like Dhamdhol Mahe Paul is a cause of concern for the country.

Ten heads can also be a symbol. Ravana does not even have ten heads as we draw in painting or make idols for burning. Even though Ravana has only one head, Dashanan means that we can be warned through him that there can be ten main types of disorders in a single head of a human being. Each disorder can give birth to ten separate monsters. Or we may be carrying the head of one or more of these ten monsters and moving around in the present.

Ramayana is the occasion of Ravanugraha in Uttarakhand. King Ravana of Lanka plundered Alaka, the town of his Orman brother Kubera, and captured it by defeating his army. He was returning to Lanka aboard Kuber's hijacked Pushpak plane. Then Mount Kailash, which was creating a supernatural scene, came by its plane. Mount Kailash, with its lofty peaks, could not be reached by plane. No force was pushing the plane backwards. Ravana was furious as he did not return even with his selfless efforts. At that moment, Nandi came and said to Ravana, 'You cannot cross Mount Kailash as Shiva and Parvati are currently in love with Kailash.' Ravana's ego reached the sky.

He began to shake Mount Kailash in the arms of his ten heads and huge twenty hands. Seeing this, Nandi cursed Ravana that an incarnation would fall with the help of his ape army. Laughing, Ravana gathered strength as if Mount Kailash was destroying the trees. As soon as the mountain began to move slightly, Lord Shiva realized that this could be Ravana. He weighed lightly with his thumb from the top of Kailash and Ravana was knocked under Kailash mountain. When he roared and cried like echoes in the Himalayas, his minister advised him to worship Lord Shiva immensely and attain His pleasure so that we may be free.

When an arrogant person is on the verge of death, the wise man becomes dumbfounded, but as soon as he is free from fear, he regains his irritable instinct.

Ravana showed the same nature and accepted the power of Shiva and did his true devotion. The scriptures mention tapa for a thousand years. Made a harp of his head. From the source of Shiva, the Kailasa range seemed to resound with Shiva's praise. Lord Shiva was pleased and gave him a weapon and a Shivling that the rival could not see. As soon as Jaan survived and the need was met, Ravana's vices came to the surface again.

This event also teaches that when we are in the midst of being powerful (after defeating Kubera) we also shout to overthrow Mount Kailash. But in the face of greater power or fear of death, we accept all its conditions and once we reach the center of our security and power, we assume the same nature as before.

It is also believed that Ravana once ruled over ten regions which are now Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Bali, Sumatra, Madagascar, Australia, New Guinea, Western Philippines, Southern Thailand and Andaman Nicobar. Even today there are temples of Lord Shriram in these countries. Such evidence is also found in their ancient architecture. There are people and regions who also worship Ravana as Purvaraja. The Puranas also mention that Ravana was a Mayavi man. Most of the time, he moved with one head like a normal human being, but when needed, he took the form of ten heads to demonstrate power or to intimidate.

He had the strength of ten Mahabali. He had a mind with 10 different disorders, and he combined this ability in it to scare everyone. In Sanskrit, 'Ravana is the one who makes everyone cry.' One meaning can also be deduced that the brain which can have four Vedas and six Upanishads can also have ten vices in the same brain.

Hindu-Muslim and other religious artists perform Ramlila at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi. When the group came to Ahmedabad to play Ramlila, Zaverilal Mehta took a memorable picture by going backstage. With a get-up of 10 heads, Ravana is holding a cup from the lips of the right head and drinking tea, and next to him, an artist dressed as Hanuman is standing with a tea kettle. The actor who played the role of Ram was a Muslim comrade. Ram and the Hindu soldier were blowing the same BD simultaneously.

Let us also celebrate Dussehra by burning our disorders.
