'Deepavali Deepoka Mela,

Deepak to all over India,

Jitne jalte nabh ke tare.

Good night leaves crackers

Naughty boy stubborn age

My country is very proud,

Riti Rasam, Ritu Rang Rangeeli. '

Di Potsavi means festival of lights. Diwali is a holy festival to light a lamp in the heart and spread the light of knowledge and love in the heart. Knowledge, faith, love, compassion, truth are the virtues-goodness are the divine lamps. The significance of a Dipotsavi is to light a lamp in the house-window, in the house-yard-balcony on the festival of Diwali and also to light the lamps of goodwill of truth-love-compassion in the heart-window. In the courtyard of the house, the lamps lit in the window or on the balcony will be extinguished after a few hours, but the lamps of goodwill lit in the window of the heart will continue to spread knowledge, love and joy. The self-light is always manifested in the inner window of the human body temple. The consciousness of the gem in the form of Chitta is to remove the darkness of Amas and illuminate existence.

Bhartruhari says in the twenty-fourth verse of Vijnanshatak - Currently: Samudrarati Taddhivita Kritartho, Manye S av Samupasit Vishwanath: .. Due to the ignorance of human beings, the incomparable and glorious gem of self-consciousness has fallen into the dark well of body. I believe that the man who saves him is successful and that he is the true worshiper of the Lord of the universe. '

Dipotsavi Mahotsav is a five-day holy festival of worship. Dhanteras, Kali Chaudas, Diwali, New Year and Bhaibeej. The five festivals are celebrated during this festival. Dhanteras is a day of Lakshmi worship. Worshipers pray for Lakshmiji to attain Aishwarya, Dhan, Sampati, Sukh, Samrudhi, Shobha, Sundarta a Sagduno - 'Vijnanavriddhin Hridaye Kuru Shri, Dayabhivriddhin Kuruta Tvadhi Shri. Saubhagya Vriddhin Kuru Me Grihe Shri, Suvarnavriddhin Kuru Me Kare Shri. O Lakshmiji, increase knowledge in my heart, increase goodwill like love, compassion in my heart, increase good fortune in my house and increase gold (wealth) in my hands. 'What is said about Lakshmi in the scriptures is very nice -

'Shri Mangalat Prabhavit Pragalbhyat Sampravardhate.

Dakshyattu Kurute Moolam Sanyamat Pratishtati.

Lakshmi arises from Mangalya, grows cleverly, builds the root with skill and dwells forever with restraint. '

On the day of Dhanteras, Lord Dhanvantari, the pioneer of Ayurveda, also appeared during Samudramanthan, so he is also worshiped.

Kali Chaudas is the day of worship of Mahakali. Mahakali provides physical strength and vitality, health and longevity. On that day, Lord Krishna killed Narakasur and freed sixteen thousand captive girls and gave them a high status in the society by accepting them as his wives. These fourteen are also called 'Roop Chaturdashi'. Worshiping Mahakali on that day increases the form, beauty, elegance, brightness of the body. On that day, Tantra Sadhana and Aghor Upasana are also performed.

Diwali is the day of worship of Goddess Mahasaraswati. Mahasaraswati attains immortality through wisdom and good fortune. 'Vidya amrut ashnute - the student receives nectar.' That is what is said in the scriptures. On the day of Diwali, traders worship Sharda and worship his book of accounts so that there will be a good economic gain in trade next year. In Diwali, lamps are made with sesame and mustard oil. Mustard oil smoke and soot (mess) are considered beneficial for the eyes.

The New Year is a joyous celebration of rejuvenation. This is the day that makes every moment fun, interesting and festive. The first day of the new year of Kartak Sud Ekam (Pratipada) is the day of Govardhan Puja. The word 'go' in Sanskrit means cows and senses. Growth of cowpea is naturally expected in the country. The immense glory of cows has already been shown in India. That is why it is said to be the abode of 3 crore gods.

The cow is absolutely holy, pure, giving happiness, peace, joy and relaxation. There have also been recent scientific discoveries that its proximity removes mental disorders and stress and makes the body disease-free. With Govardhana worship, the senses also become unaffected and become associated with the blissful Lord Krishna, the lord of the senses. Brotherhood is a day of unconditional pure love between brothers and sisters. The brother-sister takes home food and the sister tilaks the brother and offers Ashish. This day is also called Yamadvitiya. This festival saves Yamayatana.
