Nature is the account of our deeds

Prakriti gives an account of our deeds in the form of sin and virtue. But there are also some karmas which are done at Nishkam Bhava and they are of a higher order by rising above the realm of sin and virtue. That is why sin and virtue are not sacrificed through it, the sacraments are burnt. And the mind is refined. In this way Nishkam Karma frees a person from the life cycle. The mind is the sea where there is a complete reckoning of the deeds done by us.

The scriptures say that if the scale of sin and virtue accumulated in human life is equal, then the living soul receives the human body. If the burden of sin is greater than that of meritorious deeds, then the living entity receives the vaginas of insects, worms, beetles, animals and birds. But if the number of virtues is greater than the number of sins, then the human body is attained again.
