Taylor Swift's album topped the music charts for the eighth consecutive time in 2020

Taylor Swift's album Folkfor has topped the Billboard 500 chart for the eighth week in a row. The album was released in July and topped the charts for the first time just a few months ago. The album also sold 1 million copies for the first time in the United States this year. Last year, Taylor's album Lover was the only album to have sold more than 1 million copies during the year. Folk Four is Taylor's ninth album, which sold over 1 million copies in the United States.
