The fort of Bhangarh in the Alwar district of Rajasthan is called Bhootio Garh. This cursed fort is located in Alwar, about 20 km from Jaipur district of Rajasthan. Sariska National Park is just a few kilometers away. There are also a few temples in the vast areas of the fort, the main ones being Lord Shiva's Someshwar, Lord Krishna's Gopinath and Keshavrai and Shakti's Mangala Devi. There are beautiful carvings on the walls and pillars of these temples from which one can imagine how beautiful and magnificent this fort must have been in the past!

Excavations by the Archaeological Survey of India have uncovered overwhelming evidence that the city is an ancient historical site. At present the essence of this fort is being maintained by the Government of India. As the place is haunted and cursed, the Archaeological Department has issued strict instructions that no one should stay in the area after sunset. A team of Archaeological Survey of India is present around the fort. None of their members or outsiders have been banned from entering the fort in the evening as there have been several ghost attacks in the past.

There is an incident behind how the fort of Bhangarh became haunted. Is. The fort of Bhangarh was built by Bhagwant Das, the king of Amer in 17 AD. It prospered for about 200 years after it was built. In the 16th century, King Madhosinh, the elder brother of King Sawai Mansingh, made the fort of Bhangarh his residence. Princess Ratnavati of Bhangarh was very beautiful. At that time, its beauty was being discussed all over the state. Her marriage proposals were coming from many states. Meanwhile, one day Ratnavati was passing through the market with her friends.

She saw a perfume shop and went to get one. She was smelling the perfume on her hands. At that time, a tantric named Sindhu Sevada was standing a little away from the shop, looking at the princess. Indus lived in the same state and was an expert in black magic. Seeing Roop Roop's heap Sami Ratnavati, he fell in love with her and decided to use magic and black magic to get her.

Ratnavati often came to the shop to get perfume. Sindhu tries to meet him but Ratnavati doesn't even look at him. His friends and bodyguards pushed him away. Once Sindhu went to the perfume shop and practiced black magic on the perfume bottle that Ratnavati used to use. After a while, Ratnavati came to the shop to get perfume and picked up the bottle in front of her, paid her money and started walking away. Someone told him that a while ago that tantrik had come and done black magic on him. So he threw the perfume bottle on a stone. This broke the bottle and spilled the perfume.

Another strange thing happened. Ratnavati wore a shield around her neck that did not affect any Tantra-Mantra-Meli Vidya. As soon as he touched her, Meli Vidya of Indus Sevada returned to him. The stone on which the perfume bottle was thrown bounced and hit the head of the Indus standing far away. Indus fell to the ground and started hitting.

At that time he cursed that all the people living in the castle of the princess would die prematurely. He will die very soon and his soul will continue to wander inside this fort. It is said that Ratnavati removed the shield. The curse of Tantric killed him and his family living there and many people started seeing his ghost.

At night he would appear inside the fort and harass the people living inside it. For the same reason, Bhangarh is called the 'Fortress of Ghosts' and the Archaeological Department has also banned entry to it after sunset. Even in today's 21st century, people are afraid to go near this fort at night!

Ghostbusters also occur in the Mahu and Malwa regions of southern Rajasthan. During the night of Amas, a detachment of armed warriors is seen in the desert region of Mahu, in front of which a Rajput prince is seen walking with a torch in his hand. It is known as 'Hatodi Mahu'. The region was ruled by the Khinchi Rajputs of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan. The soldier marching on the night of Amas is haunted. Appears for a while but when you get close to him, the whole team disappears! As if melted in the air, it disappears before the eyes. It also has a sweet effect on the viewer.

So far more than forty people have gone mad watching this haunted soldier march. Gulabchand Soni, a courageous young man from Mahu, also went to see this haunted march on the 19th and said that it only affects raw people. But after seeing him, his mental balance was also lost and he went insane.

Another peculiarity of this area is that on the day of Durga Ashtami, the people there hear kirtan-bhajan from the temple of Goddess Durga in Hatodi district. When people hear it and come there from a distance, they see people chanting, but Khara and his loud voices are heard, but when Khara also reaches through the temple, they all disappear. The lamp is always lit near the idol of Goddess Durga. Sometimes the sound of a dancer's footsteps can also be heard.

It is astonishing that kirtan-pujan and dance are performed in this temple. This fort of Hatodi Mahu is situated between Jhalawar and Kotani. To reach there, one has to take the road from Mandawad to Badher. In it is this haunted castle.
