Corona's second wave is proving to be very dangerous. Even today many people are facing transition. An important symptom of this disease is fever. At the same time, sometimes symptoms like cough, cold, sore throat etc. are also seen. Coughing is also often caused by seasonal changes. Let's talk about cough today.

Cough is a powerful disease of the respiratory system. The disease is sometimes seen independently and sometimes as a symptom of other diseases. Coughing sometimes occurs after the cold is gone or with the onset of the cold.

There are 3 types of cough.

(1) Dry cough

(2) Cough with phlegm

There are 3 types of cough in Ayurveda. (1) Vataj (2) Pittaj (3) Kafaj (3) Kshataj (4) Kshayaj

Apart from this, cough is also seen in diseases like whooping cough, measles, tuberculosis etc.

The cough patient feels like a thorn in the throat eating and drinking. The patient's voice also becomes heavier. As well as feeling sore or sore throat. Sometimes there is a mild fever. The patient also sometimes feels like a moderate panic. The body feels lethargic and weak. Persistent coughing can sometimes cause chest or abdominal pain. Sometimes constant coughing also causes vomiting. Sometimes coughing is accompanied by sputum. Some patients have a dry cough. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the winter months. Coughing is often seen at night. While many patients have no fixed time to cough. This rage is seen anytime from morning-afternoon-evening or night. Ayurveda believes that when the body-chest gets full of phlegm and when it cannot get out on its own, the body produces a cough and the body tries to get the phlegm out.

Diagnosis-Causes: -

If we discuss about the causes and diagnosis of cough and cough: -

(1) Cold, greasy or spicy - can be caused by overeating of fried food.

(2) Excessive consumption of yogurt, buttermilk, banana, ice cream etc. can also be a victim of this disease.

(3) Polluted air, water, smoke, dust, etc. can enter the respiratory tract of a person and be responsible for causing this disease.

(3) Smoking, opium, alcohol, marijuana, tobacco, etc. also greatly increases the chances of coughing.

Treatment: -

* The following remedies for cough can be done as per the advice of the doctor. In which,

(1) Boil turmeric in milk and drink it.

(3) Cough is relieved by boiling the powder of papri root (lumps) in milk and drinking it.

(2) Taking Ardusi and Tulsi juice with honey also gives a lot of comfort in the industry.

(2) Clove powder taken in the amount of 3 grams with honey is very beneficial in cough.

(4) Sucking 2-3 tablets of Yashtimadhu Vati or Khadiradi Vati in the morning and evening is also very beneficial in this disease.

(2) Mixing Yastimadhu powder and Baheda powder in equal parts and taking it with honey gives good results.

(2) In case of dry cough, taking decimal decoction with water in the morning and evening reduces the incidence of cough.

In addition to the above treatment, it is very important to take care of diet in this disease. Taking care of the diet can prevent all diseases except herbs.

In this disease, ginger, fenugreek, kale, sova, old grains as well as nutritious, light and hot food should be recommended.

Use turmeric and black pepper as well as cloves in milk or cooking as much as possible. Green turmeric, green garlic, etc. give good results in allergic cough if there is cough in winter season.

Yogurt-buttermilk, ice cream, stale foods, fried items, cold air from a fan or AC etc. are exacerbating the disease so get rid of them.

Adherence to diet and proper use of medicine can cure this disease, which is undeniable.
