- If strong education and health services had been set up in the villages, people would not have died on the way to the city hospitals.
The epidemic has revealed the limitations of India's healthcare sector. Cities and towns in India have more or less the same healthcare infrastructure, but at the village level, the healthcare infrastructure is poor. Our villages have zero facilities of specialist doctors and facilities like X-rays or catscans to deal with the Kovid epidemic. Our primary health centers are truly in the early stages. Human life has no special value in glorious India. People die like flies due to lack of treatment.
Our governments (central and state) made generous donations in a bid to get votes, but instead of generous donations, they would have built strong education and health services in the villages so that people would not die on the road trying to reach the city hospitals. Of course, even the cowardly people of our city have died due to lack of space in the hospital or on the way. But now that many hospital beds in city hospitals are running out, patients are relieved.
Today, the main epicenter of the corona was China, followed by the United States and European countries, but today India has become the epicenter of the corona epidemic all over the world and a third wave of the corona virus is expected to roar in India. Even now, the death toll in India seems to be much higher than the official figures. People do not seem to have faith in government figures. Some of the epidemics of the Corona epidemic spreading rapidly in the villages are alarming.
In the second wave of corona in Sardhar of Rajkot taluka, about 20 people have died from corona in the last two months. Thoriyali is a village of Paddhari taluka with a population of three thousand. In the last one and a half months, about 6 people have been affected in this village. 7 people have died in Khodipipar village of this taluka and the administration does not listen to the representations of the sarpanches of these villages.
In Bilodra village near Mansa near Ahmedabad, 40 people died from corona in April alone, 30 in Itodra, 150 in Limbodra village and 20 in Balwa village. Mansa is a town and there are only 10 beds in a government hospital in this town while the remaining four private hospitals have five to seven beds.
Finally, 15 beds have been allotted for Corona. But due to lack of oxygen, only 10 patients could be admitted. In a recent national address, Narendra Modi told farmers that corona care was on the rise in the villages so farmers should be vigilant. But without any kind of facilities, this advice is meaningless. It is futile. It is only about Gujarat but the villages of the whole country are suffering and millions of people in our villages will die due to lack of health facilities.
One of the horrific things that has happened during Kovid's epidemic is that many private hospitals in Gujarat and India have refused to admit Kovid's patients under the BJP government's excellent Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Under this excellent scheme, every family gets free medical treatment of Rs. 5 lakh per family every year.
Government-designated government hospitals (empaneled hospitals) and private hospitals are required to treat patients under this scheme. Private hospitals refuse to admit patients under this scheme and argue that we cannot afford to admit Kovid patients under this scheme. This argument is absurd. This can be called a terrible disrespect to the order of the government.
Even under the government's plan, if patients die due to lack of treatment and the central or state governments run it unprofessionally and do not take action under war crimes against criminal hospitals, then whether that government or governments (state governments) are eligible to run the state should be discussed across the country. Should. The above is an insult to the Central Government. Everything else can be carried out but this revolt against the welfare scheme of the government is subject to severe punishment.
Many may find it exaggerated that we talked about war cry above but the main thing is that the Corona virus has declared war on mankind and the laws of war should be enforced during times of war. Similarly, the move to criminalize the black market of drugs like oxygen, covid vaccine, remedicivir etc. seems to be somewhat worthwhile. There is a saying in English that Drastic Situation Requires Drastic Remedy. Also keep in mind that the technology of oxygen production is as easy as Chanamamara and requires very little investment.
Why doesn't the government announce the construction of oxygen plants to thousands of small and large companies and hospitals and provide full tax relief on those costs? This needs to be done not only by the central government but also by the state governments. Admittedly, the central and state governments are making desperate efforts to fight the Corona virus epidemic, but these efforts are short-lived due to the limitations of our government administration. The government needs to immediately remove all the barriers to Kovid's treatment, otherwise it will be difficult for this government to survive if Kovid's epidemic goes out of control in the villages.
