We all know the unparalleled glory of the journey of Shri Shatrunjya. In that Yatra, as soon as we cross the Tirthadhiraja one by one and reach the Derasar of Adishwar Dada, our outer ascent is completed and at the same time the ascending ascension within us, i.e. the inner ascension, also becomes brighter with the vision of Lord Adinath. Here let us consider the sixth Yatra of Shri Shatrunjaya Tirtha.

Sixth by seven journeys

Usually in winter six to seven travelers start the journey in the morning. Complete five trips on the first day. These are mainly two trips to Jayataleti and three trips to Gheti Payaga. In each Yatra, three Chaityavandans are performed for Taleti, Shantinath Bhagwan and Dada Adishwar. Fifteen pradakshinas, five chaityavandans of Rayanapagala and five chaitanyavandans of Pundarikaswamy, kaussagg, khamasamana etc. are completed when one ascends for the fifth yatra. The next day, after climbing from the foothills of Jai again, after seeing Dada, he goes to the foot of the sheep and climbs up from there. Even then, ten Chaityavandans etc. of two Yatras are performed.

Therefore, the sixth curry has been written in a book called 'Shatrunjaya Laghukalpa' for the seven pilgrims of Dada Adishwar Dev.

The person who travels to Dada on the sixth day attains Moksha on the third day.

Then let's see the new journey of Shri Shatrunjaya Mahatirtha.

Navvanu Yatra

The grace of Tirthankar Paramatma or the events of his life also become a beacon for the seekers of the spiritual path. Shri Adishwar Bhagwan Purna Navvanu Var on the auspicious day of Phagan Sud 5 was assembled on this Giriraj. He made this journey in the last remaining one lakh years of his life. Navvanu East War i.e. 3 crore crore, 2 lakh crore, 2000 crore (Navvanu East) four Siddhachalaji pilgrimages.

In this way the glory of Navvanu Yatra became prevalent in eight months except Chaturmas. The journey starts from Kartak Sud Poonam to Giriraj. This navvanu yatra starts from any auspicious day in the rest of the time.

Navvanu is a definite ritual for the traveler. On that day, in Jai Taleti, in the derasar of Shri Shantinath Bhagwan, in the paduka of Adinath Bhagwan under the Rayan tree, in the Derasar of Shri Pundarik Swami and in the Derasar of the original hero Adishwar Bhagwan, a total of five Chaityavandans are performed and one Snatra is taught in these five places. The pilgrim has to perform the following rituals.

At the time of Chaturmas

Tirthadhiraja Shri Shatrunjaya does not travel in Chaturmas, but in these Chaturmas a new religious and spiritual atmosphere is created. Pilgrims come to Palitana Dharamshala to perform Chaturmas in the vicinity of the pilgrimage site. Devotees benefit from these four months of devotion, lectures and meritorious deeds as well as brighten their lives with the spirit of chanting, penance and renunciation. This builds Bhatu for Bhav and for Parbhav. At this time the activity of self-welfare, ritual charity and compassion go hand in hand.

In the morning, the devotees go to see the foothills. For four consecutive months, Mahajnani Acharya Maharaj has the unique opportunity to listen to Jinwani. In this way, Giriraj's touch, Chaityavandan, Kausagg Khamasmana as well as do as much penance as possible. Since hundreds of monks and nuns have settled in Chaturmas, the listeners get the benefit of it. These sadhus and sadhvis are doing spiritual pursuits for karmakshaya and atmannati as well as worshiping the knowledge of special scriptures and meditation.

Pat Juharva

The time of Chaturmas is the time of sowing of Dharmaradhana. Chaturmas is considered to be the best time of Dharmaradhana as the sadhu-sadhvi is settling in one place at this time and Parvadhiraj Paryushana is coming in that period. Due to the stability of the sadhu-sadhvi, invaluable Dharmollas is manifested in Shri Sangh. At the end of Chaturmas, Giriraj is allowed to climb Srishatrunjya, so Chaturmas is changed on the day of Kartak Sud Poonam. At this time he goes to pay homage to Shri Shatrunjay Giriraj in a suitable place outside the Chaturvidha Sangh village of that village. The main purpose behind this is to make a pilgrimage to Giriraj Srishatrunjya, but when that is not possible, a charitavandan and khamasamana are given outside the village by tying a rope outside the village to greet Giriraj. While giving jute, some give 21 and some give 108 khamas.

This is especially important. Behind this is the feeling that the seeker himself is actually seeing Giriraj. Due to the special significance of this, rice was distributed at the place of Pat Juharwa.
