Guru is the moon of knowledge. 'Gu' means darkness and 'Ru' means destroyer. The Guru who removes the darkness of life and leads us to the path of fitness of human values.
Vandaniya is the guiding Guru who takes the Lord from the deep darkness to the supreme glory. The Guru gives proper guidance to the welfare of the disciple. That is why Guru is considered superior to Govind. Only Guru can give identity without Govind. Realization of spirituality is not possible without Guru. Jupiter Purnima is the divine day to give such subtle motion. Sadguru is the one who shows the divinity, pride, dignity and grandeur of the disciple.
