- There is always happiness in having a relationship with God. They never abandon us. Offer all deeds to God.
Lord Krishna has given a beautiful and subtle definition of 'Karma Yoga' in the Bhagavad Gita. Karmas bind us and the chain of karmas continues unabated. The result of deeds must also be suffered. The result of good deeds is auspicious and the result of evil deeds is always painful.
As long as the jivatma remains in the body, someone continues to do some karma. And the chain of karma continues till birth. This raises the question of whether one can ever be free from karma. God shows as a remedy for this, 'Karma Yoga' Karma should be done in such a way that even though we do Karma, we are not bound by it. This mention is found in Ishavasyamidam Sarva .. verse. This whole world is pervaded by the power of God, the divine consciousness. God created this world. Let us think about the formulas of Karma Yoga.
1) Abandonment of attachment: Abandonment, non-attachment to enjoy happiness. The vulture is also greedy and is addicted to rotten carcass meat. Such a vulture-like sight should not come into us. If there is no attachment then that karma cannot bind us. It is because of this attachment that man has to suffer its bad consequences. Attachment is the root of all ailments.
We know about Bhishmapita in Mahabharata. They were bound by vows and promises. I was bound by the attachment of my own family so that there would be no misfortune in my family. Thinking like this, Bhishmapitamah became bound in the bonds of attachment. In fact, he had the right to be king. But his whole life was full of thorns and sorrow because of his attachment and promise to his father. He finally fell asleep on the couch. No kind of bond can bind us without false attachment.
2) Abandonment of raga and hatred: 'There is another formula of Karma Yoga,' Abandonment of raga and hatred. Raag means a good attitude towards someone. The feeling of belonging is called 'Raag'. Which binds us to a person, thing or event. When 'duality' takes us away from it. Produces resentment towards him. This love is rage and revenge is hatred. These two things bind, which will come with it in the second birth. This bond does not end in a single birth. Therefore, doing karma by giving up 'ragadvesh' is karma yoga.
2) Abandonment of Kartapana: This is the third sutra of Karma Yoga. The action does not result. But karma has consequences. As long as there is 'I too', ego remains in human beings.
Karma that does not have the value of ego and doership does not bind man in the bondage of karma. Who is the doer of karma and where is karma coming from? That we cannot see. The conscience never indulges in karma and it does not lead to any karma. The game of karma is played only through the Sat, Raj, Tam three virtues of nature and the instincts of the mind. And our minds have these three qualities.
Do you believe that you are doing karma? Who are you? Are you senses Are you a body Do you have a mind? Wisdom and ego? Are you a body Or are you a part of God? If man has true consciousness and true knowledge, he will understand that karma is not happening through him. Karma is happening in nature. No karma touches the soul or the conscience. The result doesn’t even touch it. So give up the illusion of dominance. Doing so makes one truly 'karmayogi'.
2) The price of equality: This is the fourth formula of 'Karma Yoga'. The 'price of equality' produces a price of its own and of parka's. No one is his own or an outsider. If the hatred of the mind is removed, the price of equality will rise. God says the one who sees me everywhere is a true karma yogi. In the state of equality the karma that is done becomes karmyogi.
5) Karma skillfully: Yoga: Kamasu Kaushalam, to do karma skillfully. For this sutra, both body and mind should be concentrated. But that cannot happen forever. We dream and only hope for fruit. For example, while preparing for the exam, such a percentage will come, there will be a lot of fun, the family will be happy, they will get a job, a good salary will come, etc. Thus dreams are connected with karma. The mind is dispersed in anticipation of fruit. Hence Lord Krishna says to do karma without desire for fruit. We think that if we don't want fruit then why do karma?
We do karma because of greed or fear. The true doer is beyond greed and fear. He does his work with complete immersion, giving full mind. We should do karma but not in bondage. This is the skill of karma.
2) To offer deeds to God: According to the sixth sutra, offer all deeds to God. There is no one dearer than God. God says, 'Whatever you eat, you burn, you donate, you do penance. You give me everything you do from morning to evening. As our karma accumulates, it becomes a sacrament in the long run. Goswami Tulsidasji says, 'Ishwar Ansh Jiv Avinashi, Chetan Amal Sahaj Sukh Rashi.'
Happiness always comes from having a relationship with God. They never abandon us. Offer all deeds to God.
Working knowledge is the best, which is useless if we do not bring it to life. Meditation is better than knowledge. 'Abandoning the fruit of karma' is better than meditation. Because renunciation brings immediate peace.
