What is Green Energy? .

Some power is used in factories, machines and the chemical industry. Vehicles produce petrol and power. Coal or other fuels have to be burned to generate electricity. Heat is needed for power and heat is obtained only when something is lit. When an object burns, carbon dioxide and other gases are produced. These gases damage the ozone layer. Earth's temperature rises. Such gases are called pollution. Scientists are looking for non-polluting fuels while generating energy. Efforts are being made to obtain biofuel from solar power, windmills, ocean waves, kinetic energy and some plants. All these sources are called green energy and they do not pollute.
