Bhonga is a specially built house in the village of Kutch. The beetles are spherical and earthquake resistant. That is why even in an earthquake, it remains a stumbling block.
The walls of the beehive are made of clay and mud and its cone-shaped roof is made of grass, tree branches and leaves. These grasses and leaves are woven in such a way that rainwater does not enter through them but the air can cool down. Due to the soil and grass, the beetles feel warm in winter and cool in summer.
The beetles, which look normal on the outside, are elaborate on the inside, attractive and perfectly clean. The pottery on the inside wall, the shelf for the utensils, the decorations of the paniyara and the gokhalas are invisible to the eye and the most eye-catching is the colorful ceiling.
