Day and night above the moon

As the earth rotates, night and day form over it. In the same way night and day are formed on other planets and satellites. The moon is a satellite of the earth and it orbits, so the rays of the sun also create day and night on it.

The moon orbits the earth as well as the sun. Even if we assume that there is day when the sun shines on the moon, its day and night are different. The fact that the moon moves slowly on its axis completes one cycle in our 2.5 days. That is why we have light for 2.5 days. There is no atmosphere on the moon so all the rays of the sun are illuminated wherever they fall. There are only two positions on the moon, either full light or complete darkness. Morning and evening light conditions are not there. With sunlight there is light on the surface of the moon and an inch away from it is quite dark. Thus the night and day of the moon are special.
