- The whole of economics: Dhawal Mehta
- Economics and politics are intertwined. Here is how politicians suppress economics for their power.
Authorities crush the movements for independence or autonomy, so we are very frustrated. We are 3%, you are 1% movement which is also known as Occupy Wall Street movement. It failed, the Tinachi Square movement against the Chinese authorities in China failed. Is. The Arab Spring movement, which began in 2011 and was Arab-wide, also failed. It seems that human life has no value against the authorities. The great hope that the Arab Spring had for mankind was shattered. The Arab Spring movement spread to many Arab countries in a very short time but failed overall.
The Arab Spring movement began on December 15, 2010. It all started with a Tunisian street vendor committing suicide by police brutality. On January 19, 2011, three days after the incident, the people revolted and Tunisian President Ben Ali had to step down and flee the country. The most powerful and richest country in the Arab world is Saudi Arabia and the United States is its ally. For its own sake, the US allows Saudi Arabia a monarchy and does not insist on democracy there. What kind of game does selfishness play? On January 6, 2011, people began protesting against the government near Tahir Square in Egypt. As many as 50 protesters were killed and 2,000 injured in the protest near Tahir Square. The agents were killed with the police and my Khwama police. About a month later, on February 4, 2011, the uprising in Yemen began. The political turmoil lasted for months, during which the Yemeni government killed thousands. The rebels had some success in Egypt. On February 11, 2011, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak relinquished power but handed over state power to the government army, not the Egyptian people. Now for Bahrain. On February 12, 2011, the Arab Spring movement for the cause of reform in Bahrain spread. Bahrain is the US naval base in Bahrain. The movement was severely suppressed. The talk of reform was left aside. On February 12, 2011, Libya revolted against its brutal dictator, Mohammed Gaddafi. In October 2011, dictator Mohammed Gaddafi was assassinated. Serious and impossible agitations began in Syria in March 2011 which were brutally suppressed by the Syrian opposition. Half a million (yes, two and a half million) people died and 1.5 crore people had to flee their homes. On March 17, 2011, his opponents took to the streets. Forty people were killed and hundreds injured in the protests. What is the situation after ten years? Human rights have been trampled on throughout the Arab world. Out of all these countries, only Tunisia has introduced a new constitution that does not ignore the achievement of human freedom. Thousands of protesters are imprisoned in Egypt. Authorities in Bahrain have silenced dissent. The bloodiest wars have been used in Syria to crush the opposition. Torture is common in Egypt, where thousands of protesters are still being held. Libya is in turmoil. Thus, the hopes raised by the Arab Spies for democracy have been shattered. The movement against feudalism, monarchy, dictatorship, brutal dictatorship came to an end in December 2014.
