Nectar-like mother's milk.

The first week of August is celebrated around the world as International Breastfeeding Week. Mother's milk is the real nectar for the baby. International Breastfeeding Week is celebrated on the first week of August every year i.e. 1st to 8th August every year to create awareness about the importance of breastfeeding for balanced upbringing of infants. The benefits of breast milk for infants are so small.

Mother's milk is the first source of virtues: Mother's milk contains all the essential nutrients for the baby. Mother's milk is the most easily digested food for the baby compared to any other milk or outside food. The first milk that comes after the baby is born is a viscous-yellow liquid. This milk is known as colostrum. Since this colostrum in the beginning is not as white as milk, mothers often do not give this milk to the baby due to lack of proper understanding. Many times the elders of the house, believing the old beliefs to be true, refuse to give this colostrum to the child, believing that it will be difficult for him to digest. In fact, for a baby, colostrum is a treasure trove of proteins, vitamins, and antibodies. That is why the first milk of the mother must be given to the baby. The mother can start breastfeeding from the first half hour after giving birth.

Breast milk provides complete nutrition: The first six months after the baby is born are completely dependent on breast milk. Every infant's food and nutrition needs, even its water needs, are met exclusively from breast milk. The specialty of protein and fat in breast milk is that it is easily digested by the baby without any side effects. In the first six months of breast milk, only docosahexaoic acid, which is essential for the growth of the baby, is sufficient. The uterus is essential for the development of the baby's brain during the first six months of life. Because of this, studies have shown that babies, especially those raised on breast milk, develop properly and adequately.

According to the new guidelines, the baby has to be exclusively breastfed for the first six months. Nothing outside means not even water to be given. Breast milk is very suitable for infants: Mother's milk is secreted from the breast and is absorbed directly by the infant, so it does not contain any contaminants. In addition, the milk is heated to the mother's body temperature. Therefore, the temperature of the milk is not too hot or cold for the baby but it is very flexible.

The immune system in breast milk protects the baby from diseases and infections. Breast milk provides the baby with energy, protein, vitamins, minerals, growth factors, and enzymes and hormones that are essential for metabolism.

Breast milk protects against infections and allergies: Babies fed on breast milk are healthier than babies fed on outside foods.

The bifidus factor in breast milk allows the beneficial bacteria to grow in the baby's digestive system and prevents harmful microbes from growing. As a result, the child stays healthy. Breast milk also contains antibodies, lactoferrin, and immunoglobulins that kill the E-coli type bacteria and harmful microbes that cause diarrhea in infants.

Breastfeeding builds a bridge of affection with the baby: Breastfeeding builds a bridge of affection and love between mother and baby. Newborns recognize their mother's touch and feel safe and warm. Newborns stay away from feelings of fear and insecurity in the new environment and experience affection, safety and protection only to have a positive effect on the baby's sleep, diet and growth.

Breastfeeding gives the mother a shapely body: Breastfeeding is beneficial for both mother and baby. The mother's body absorbs fat during the formation of milk and mixes it with fat in the milk to nourish the baby. Thus a mother who is breastfeeding loses her increased weight and body fat quickly after pregnancy and regains her pre-pregnancy weight. Studies have also shown that after delivery, the uterus of breastfeeding mothers shrinks quickly to its original size, and the incidence of breast cancer is lower in breastfeeding mothers.

Breastfeeding mothers should take care of this: The mother should take special care of her diet and medicines during the period of breastfeeding. This is because both the nutrients and harmful chemicals found in everything the mother eats are mixed into the milk. That is why breastfeeding mothers should stay away from tobacco, alcohol, cigarettes or any other addictions. Not only this, with the help of this medicine you can avoid taking unnecessary medicines or tablets.
