Sachin: Rejuvenated even in the sixth decade of his career

Veteran actor of Hindi and Marathi films Sachin Pilgaonkar has completed more than five and a half decades of his career. The actor, director, producer took it from mid-range cinema a while back. But also continued to work in TV reality shows and serials. Now he has increased his inclination to study digital space with short films and web series. His new web series 'City of Dreams Season 2' has been streaming since July 30, which has been well received by viewers.

The web series involves the murder of a politician from the Gaekwad family and Sachin plays the role of Chief Minister in the series. The first season of the web shows the relationship conflict and the current season depicts the intensity and depth of the relationship. The series is directed by renowned filmmaker Nagesh Kukunur and Sachin has also enjoyed working with him. Despite his experience as an actor and director, Sachin has never talked about directing Nagesh. 'I am the director's actor and he is the actor's director Che and I am the director's actor.
