We have become accustomed to the restlessness of five after four, the sequence of April after March, the guarantee of Sunday only after Saturday, the regularity of rainy season after summer, all such immobility and reliability. All such assurances give us security and stability but gradually such permanence makes us lazy and thoughtless. Such laziness also gives us sleep.
The rule of life is that something that does not hurt or challenge us does not change us. The adrenaline rush doesn't even feel like when everything becomes stereotyped or moldy. The mind begins to sleep when everything around us is backward, dilapidated, dormant and stereotyped. Comparing the lives of three generations, it seems that we are reading a Xerox copy. Yes, sleep flies when something extraordinary and unimaginable, unprecedented and irregular happens. Something that makes us shake, shake and bewildered. Transformation happens when something becomes rare and makes us unstable and chaotic. Adversity brings change and heterogeneity brings thought. Security is an overrated happiness.
Thus, insecurity enters only from the rush for safety, the dis-appointment is hidden in the appointment for tomorrow. After ten years of dreaming of becoming a doctor with 5% in Bar Science, we wake up to success when the result is 90%. Perhaps we have failed to train accident and unpredictability, darkness and exceptionalism.
According to Noah Harari, a great scholar of human civilization, this is the biggest challenge of our time. If we do not know or understand this constantly changing world, then how can we live in it? The world according to our understanding and definition is going to the margins. We are becoming irrelevant in an unknown world. Why do we get scared if we don't get the world of our plans and expectations, our beliefs and schedules? This flickering flashes from the moment.
The little bird flutters its wings for the first time, then flutters its wings. There are trials in life but sometimes life shines through trials, that life is unique. For that, we have to erase the boundary drawn yesterday and establish a new standard today. We have to jump out of our circle. Saru Singhal gives us his footsteps.
I pad I don't plant,
If I stay in the range, I will be shattered.
A unique veena player from South India once said, "We all play the veena to the best of our ability, but no man has yet been born who can play the veena according to his ability and potential." After reading this, I came up with the idea that we should do the same. A unique instrument called life has been found but we do not play as much as its capacity and potential. We play it as much as our little skill. Don't know who owns this line but it gives us amazing commands:
Zindagisanvarne ko to zindagi padi hai, wo lamha sambal lo jahanjindagi khadi hai.
Let's run holding the hand of the unknown moment in front of us.
