Patan's mouthpiece merchant poet Bhalan, who used the term 'Gurjar language' for Gujarati language in the Middle Ages, was a chain creator between Narasimha and Meera. Revealed a new direction. As a translator, he has been the first to translate the wonderful Sanskrit prose 'Kadambari' of the great Sanskrit poet Banabhatta into Gujarati and translate it into Indian languages. This is not a literal translation of the novel but a good translation. Acknowledging this, Bhalan writes that -
"Sarva upma kahi navi jay, kihita granth ghanu ati thay,

This means that at first glance, the work may seem as hard as a coconut shell, but once it is cooked, it can feel as sweet and cool as a coconut copra. Bhalan in his Mangalacharan clarifies its auspicious purpose that even a common connoisseur can enjoy such a novel.
Writes that -
'' Ati pandit hui te priichi tehnu nahi upaya,
I want to listen to Mugadharsik, but I want to go.
Tehni prichwa karan kitho bhalan bhasabandh
Sakal upma kaho na jaay, kinchit katha samandh ''
Thus, Bhalane has introduced his erudition, discretion and knowledge of propriety by lightening the burden of his language style and adding ideas to his originality as there is no preservation in the original.

From these descriptions, Rasiko gets acquainted with Banabhatta's imagination, poetic style and style.
While in some places, Bhalane has shown his poetic power by adding his own ideas to the original story. Bhalane has his own poetic power through the descriptions of Pampa, Achhod or Vindhyatvi lakes, pictorial descriptions of bird slaughter by the Shabar army, the desolation of Pundarik and the novel as well as the instinctive depiction of a beautiful child in the longing son Vapsalya Zarti of Aputra Vilaswati. So in the insane description of Tarapid's action, "What is this gem?" Kahi kuch grahi, ame umshi e var '' - in such lines, Bhalne has passionately depicted eroticism.
However, not all of the original additions made by Bhalna here have been as humorous or artistic as - after Chandrapid's passing, the novel is watching as far as the dust flying from the horse's hood can be seen from the agaci. This description of Bhalan does not retain the value of his original work.
In this good translation, Bhalna has accepted the narrative form with two types of bitter compositions, big and small, and has also composed various rhythms in it. Thus Bhalan himself was a great scholar of Sanskrit and Gujarati language. However, in order to make the work popular, he has constantly strived to make the work popular by abandoning the complex complex plot, richness, metaphors and wonderful descriptions of the original work, and that is why its poetic language is simple, concise, ascending and descending.
This kind of Sahajasiddha Rachnakala is a great achievement as a translator of Bhalan and praising it, Shri Durgashankar Shastri writes that - The novel is as arrogant as it is arrogant. "
Thus, at a time when the whole of medieval literature was confined to the perimeter of religion, Bhalane has rendered invaluable service to Gujarati literature by giving a good translation of a novel rich in Sanskrit poetic vision and that is why "Kadambari" is a successful work of Bhalana.
