The gas that keeps the world alive: Oxygen

It is a well-known fact that animals on earth breathe oxygen and breathe oxygen and that is why it is also called oxygen. But you know that even the largest component of our body, water, is made up of a combination of oxygen. If humans and animals breathe oxygen, then the atmosphere does not run out of oxygen? But nature also has its remedy. We take in oxygen from the air and exhale carbon dioxide through exhalation.

Plants take in this carbon dioxide and emit oxygen. Thus the respiration of plants and animals maintains 90% of the oxygen in the atmosphere. This is the natural cycle. In addition to our breathing, oxygen is also used when a metal corrodes or burns. In addition to creating oxygen, plants process the water vapor in the atmosphere from sunlight and add a little oxygen to the atmosphere.
