Jungle animals are known to be predators. Each organism adopts a different method in search of food. Plants get their food from the soil by roots but it would be surprising to know that some plants prey on mosquito-like creatures. Of course the plant cannot run after the prey but the prey has techniques to automatically follow it. There are about 200 species of beautiful flowers in the world. Everyone's way of hunting is different.
The pitcher plant has conch-shaped leaves. There is a viscous substance on the door of the hollow leaf like round horns. Mosquito-like creatures come close to the fly, so it sticks to the bottom.
