Everybody knows that nature is very beautiful on earth and we are mostly happy to see the famous parts of natural beauty. But nature has created some things and places whose craftsmanship is also difficult to understand and even difficult to forget after seeing them. Some of the wonders of the earth are strange in appearance, and many natural wonders suggest that they may be artificial or man-made. But such a wonderful and unique miracle only proves how wonderful an artist nature is.
Nature has created a unique and exotic terrain in the US state of Utah. This desert region known as Chinle Formation is basically a badlands. Badlands are thus a desolate region created as a result of land erosion. The formation of what we call the earth has come into existence as a result of millions of millions of years of erosion of rocks. Soil erosion occurs in two ways, physical and chemical. Physical erosion is the erosion caused by heat, cold, rain, wind, freezing of water, flow of water, waves of the sea and glaciers. Chemical erosion is the erosion of soil caused by various processes of minerals in the rocks with water as well as chemical processes like oxidation and reduction.
The process of natural soil formation is extremely slow and fertile soil is ready after years but the process of soil erosion is extremely fast. It is estimated that under normal conditions it takes about three hundred years for a centimeter of soil to form a layer of soil, but the soil layer formed by rain and wind erosion is washed away in just twelve years. In addition to natural factors, soil erosion also results from human error such as improper use of land, uncontrolled grazing and faulty planting methods.
When we think of nature's work of art, it goes without saying that it is a wonderful architect of creation. One of the wonders of nature is the abundance of works that the mind cannot help but be amazed. At the same time, there is the idea that what is the purpose of nature behind creating such unique and captivating creations? Would nature have created such wonderful things just for fun or would there be a purpose behind it? After serious brainstorming, it seems that the goal of nature behind creating new things by natural elements will be to inspire human beings to create creatively through their own activities, not destructive.
Maybe that's why he creates unique objects and tools that he never imagined. Nature has performed a similar miracle at Chinle Formation. Erosion on the waste land here has created small night hills. Just as the human eye loves to see colorful things, nature also invents places that the eyes do not even imagine to be fond of colors, and places that cannot be trusted by the chemical and geological processes that cause astonishment. The land of Chinle Formation is also diverse.
Like many other badlands, the Chinle Formation also has a geography called hoodoo. Is. Rocks like long, thin minarets are called hoodoo. The peculiarity of these rocks is that they are soft at the bottom and relatively hard at the top. Due to such a structure, rocks, despite being relatively thin and long, are resistant to factors such as wind and rain. These carved natural tower-shaped rocks have been formed by layers of silt over millions of years. Nature has not only carved these rocks, but also completed the colors red, saffron and white. Especially in Malaske and in the late evening sunlight, the rocks are painted red. The formation of this hoodoo is the result of an environmental process called frost weathering in which, in addition to air and water, frost-sun combines to erode rocks.
