Ganesh Chaturthi.

Even so, India is full of many diversity, our country has a harmony of unity between the diversity of language, customs, costumes and religion. Festivals of every religion of our country are celebrated with much fanfare. Mangaldin of Bhadrapad Sudi Choth means Vinayakchoth which is known as Ganesh Chaturthi. It is celebrated with much fanfare all over the country.

Every good deed in our country starts with the name of Ganapatibapa, our 'national leader' Lokmanya Tilak hailed Ganapati as the 'national deity', and by starting Ganeshotsav, Ganapatibapa is considered as a symbol of Omkar. That is why all auspicious occasions are performed with the worship of Ganapati.

Ganapati was beheaded due to the mistake and anger of Mahadev, the god of gods. And then an elephant's head was planted on Ganapati's torso. When Parvati was very saddened by this form of Ganapati, Mahadev reassured her: O Goddess, any good deed of the world will be started only after establishing Ganapati as a disruptor. Your son will be considered a benefactor of Riddhi-siddhi. Worship of your son will remove all obstacles, and his mental work will be completed. Mahadevji's words brought consolation to mother Parvati.

The number of devotees of Ganapati is increasing day by day. Not only at home, but in the streets, alleys, everywhere in the society, people now celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with pomp and ceremony. A beautiful pavilion is built for Ganapatibapa. And it is decorated in many different ways, various prasads are carried by daily aarti. Enthusiasm is seen to have a mangal occasion at home. A different cultural program is also planned every day.

Anero zeal is seen when a terrestrial clay statue of Ganapati is erected on Ganesh Chaturthi. But the heart cries when that statue is dismantled. No one likes to say goodbye to Ganapatibapa. And the heart has spoken.

'Ganapatibapa Moriya, Pucha Varsi Loukar Aa'

Let us celebrate this religious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with glee, joy and enthusiasm, and at the same time request him a prayer.

'O Gajanan, the giver of Riddhi-siddhi, remove not only our but all the obstacles of the whole creation and spread happiness all around.'
