Navratri is the festival of adoration of Maa Jagdamba ...

There are four Navaratris in a year, Ashadh, Aso, Magh and Chaitra in which Navratri of Aso month is celebrated as a festival.

Worship of Maa Jagdamba is full of divine Lakshmi and Aishwarya. Mani has made many great through worship.

With the worship of Mahakali by Shri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Swami Vivekanandaji was placed in the line of great men by his own power.

Navratri is a special time of sadhana of Jagdamba. Maa Jagadamba is the real Yogamaya of God and is the form of Shakti.

Devotees worship in different ways in Navratri. On the day of the new moon, jewels are planted and ghatsthapana is done. The next day, at the beginning of Navratri, the idol of Maa Jagdamba is bathed in pure water and anointed with Panchamrut or Tirtha water. An unbroken ghee flame is also kept for nine days. Narvana Mantra is chanted in daily chanting.

On the eighth day of Navratri which is called Havanashtami, the tenth home is made. Naived is done according to the custom of the clan.

Thus the adoration of Jagdamba is completed by apologizing through Bhavavahi mantras.
