Rohit Roy: Forensic magic will be shown in crime thriller

Actor Rohit Roy is soon to be seen in an investigative crime thriller 'Forensic' and is being directed by Vishal Furia. The film is based on the superhit Malayalam film and was also titled 'Forensic' which was released last year.

In 'Forensic', Vikrant Messi (Johnny Khanna) changes the role of Tovino Thomson to become a medical-legal advisor and Radhika Apte assists Vikrant Messi as a senior police officer in the investigative team and Prachi Desai as a forensic officer.

Regarding Ronit Roy's role in 'Forensic', informed sources have said that Ronit's role is very complex and it is wrapped up in many covers. The complex character is associated with the past of the team's senior police officer. The character is better connected than the Malayalam film.

Ronnie Roy, meanwhile, insists that none of this is a dark character. Right now though I can't do much more about my character from the area. This is a thriller film. I play the role of Vikrat's elder brother in this film. This character is something that makes my role very exciting. I have never played such a role. This is the first time such a film based on forensic investigation has been made in India. In general, what you have and what the police have is linked from both sides, which is the heart of the film. The shooting of this film starts from Mussoorie. I don’t have special make-up, I can’t focus on myself. I have seen Malayalam film and the screenplay is so wonderful that I fell in love with it. The version of Malayalam film is very noble.

I have been working as a film actor for the last twenty years. Initially I was a little hesitant to accept this film. Vishal Furia is a wonderful director. However I became more interested in it and it was this character that drew me to it. There is a different world of forensics.

For me, this film is a new zone, which the viewers will definitely like. My director had more faith in me than me, this film is going well and maybe the film could have a very different result, said Rohit Roy.
