The difference between Bhaskaracharya, the best mathematics teacher of ancient India and our future ...

- Spectrometer-Jay Vasavada

- Whether it is the 12th century or the 21st century, the real Guru's knowledge remains eternal, Teacher's Day.

In 18 the French mathematician Pierre de Ferma explained the riddle of the pale equation to his friend Franલois de Bass, a note solved by Bhaskaracharya II, who was born in the year 1112, 500 years ago. The encyclopedia is in Britannica! (If the Forvadya folders are interested in the correct information of the ancestors, then open such a powerful encyclopedia and read it yourself. Then we would not have created new Bhaskars today?)

That is why ISRO named the unprecedented satellite 'Bhaskar 2' for us at the time it was released in 19! Earlier in the 7th century, the astronomer Bhaskaracharya became the head of the observatory in Ujjain. This Vibhuti was probably the last great mathematician of India. He was born in the 18th century at Bijjadabida (Bijapur in present day Karnataka). At that time his territory was in the possession of the kings of the Devagiri Yadav dynasty, which later came under the rule of the Chalukya dynasty and finally the Khilji dynasty.

During the reign of Bhaskaracharya, the invasion of the upper part of India was started by the medieval Afghan invader Mahmud Ghazni. But there was still an atmosphere of education in the southern region. Maheshwaracharya, the successor of the ancient poet Trivikram, who wrote the story of Naladmayanti, discovered the mathematical principles of 'Shekhar' and 'Laghutika' in astronomy. Bhaskaracharya was his son. Bhaskar was one in the calculation. He wrote a series of books called 'Siddhant Shiromani' in 6 parts.

Instead of constantly studying the motions of the planets in space, he came up with the mathematical notion of 'infinity'. The use of zero discovered by India reached across the borders via Arabia, but all mathematicians answered that any number divided by zero was zero. Bhaskar proved this answer to be 'infinite' with examples. This theory later became the epitome of famous sciences such as calculus and relativity or quantum physics!

Originally invented by the Babylonians who minted the first coin in the world in mathematics, but the sum of the squares of the two sides of a right triangle named after Pythagoras due to representation is equal to the square of the third horizontal side (diagonal). The perpendicular line is given by the square formed between the four diagonals.

Bhaskar introduced a new decimal system in the world famous mathematical text called 'Lilavati'. In the book 'Algebra' he gave calculations of number lines with 'negative' and 'positive' numbers and variables of unknown (X, Y, Z etc.) variables. Began to identify the unknown with words like a, b, k. Gives a concise outline of quadratic equations and other mathematical equations, considered to be the most modern today. By the way, a plaque found by a farmer explaining such an equation of soil is preserved in Oxford!

In the book 'Grahaganitadhyaya' he studied the motion of the planets with his mind only without any telescope. 'Goladhyaya' contains the mathematics of earth related astronomy. At that time, sitting in the third cottage of the orbit of the sun and the moon, he proved '4, 6, 7 and 5, 1, 3', respectively, which is almost true. (This is not a gossip message to NASA like Hanuman Chalisa) He tried to measure the total mass of the earth through a 'pyramid method' like the intricate method of integration. Also derived 'cosmic' principles in the calculation of velocity and acceleration. In the book 'Karnakutuhal', he has written about geometry.

Other scholars of the time were just inventors. But Bhaskaracharya had the confidence of a sage. He revised and edited old Indian mathematics, putting it in a flawless form. He was honored during his lifetime. After his death in 114, his disciple Varas Changdev also established an astronomical university in present day Patna in 1908 to conduct research on Bhaskaracharya! There is also an English translation of the popular mathematical puzzles written by Bhaskaracharya in a very interesting language. He made the peacock flying over the ground to catch a snake or the worship of the temple like a puzzle story with a lot of double lotuses in the lake.

Bhaskaracharya had immense love for his only daughter Lilavati. Originally, he created mathematical texts just to teach it. It is said that Bhaskaracharya was also an ardent astrologer. But he did not write in detail about that knowledge. Maybe the matter is more personal, less universal, he has got the trikalagyan of truth! So, destiny has kept only 1 auspicious hour for the marriage of the very beautiful Lilavati - that is what Bhaskaracharya deduced on the basis of his passionate astronomy. After many difficult calculations, Bhaskar challenged the time and made a glass water clock to measure the time at the beginning of the hour. I floated a bowl in the water with a small hole in the middle. The 'Mars Hour' begins when the hole between the water is filled to the brim, and the bowl sinks.

Preparations for the wedding were made immediately. But I looked down with curiosity to see the wonderful composition made by the decorated green father ... A pearl came out of its necklace ... and that hole was filled with that pearl! That hour never ended, nor did Lilavati get married! But the father immortalized the beloved daughter with Lilavati's math! In which, there are adjectives related to the beauty of women! The sages of India were a few Arsik preachers? Unfortunately, without any study of the costumes of that time, the daffodil cheetahs have now painted everyone like a priest with a long beard or a bald spot like a chanakya in a children's picture with a chotli. In this way, Maurya, Gupta, Chola, Chalukya, Kushan and Pallava talk like this, but the look of each age was different.

Kher reminded Bhaskaracharya on today's Teacher's Day that a Gujarati translation of a document printed in the English magazine The Week (Malayalam Manorama Yearbook's publication group) 21 years ago was placed in this column. Here is a summary of an ancient document found in the caves of Ellora! According to the archeological findings of the time, this was a discourse given by Bhaskaracharya, an epoch-making mathematician of India, to the students during the 16th century at Devagiri (which later became Daulatabad) in Maharashtra.

Of course, at the end of Sohanlal Dwivedi's favorite poem like 'Koshish karnevalo ki kabhi har nahi hoti', which was recited by Amitabh Bachchan himself with the understanding of Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Verses later composed in Sanskrit in the name of 'Vedic Mathematics' or 'Vedic Science' are ridiculed as ancient, in the case of our creative manipulation of such lies.

That is why the document has been revised today, 21 years later. Even if one thinks that someone has run a dhuppal in the name of Bhaskaracharya (this cannot be said for sure), it is like reading a single sentence on Teachers' Day. The writer or speaker may not be the same today. So let's become a student only by considering that visionary as Bhaskaracharya to fulfill that important lesson.

Pranam friends,

Our motherland today (twelfth century) has come to Tribheta (Cross Rhodes).

Where do we go from here? The last several centuries have been good for us. At one point we were ahead of the rest of the world in terms of understanding and wealth. But it is a mistake to assume that the time to come will bring us to the pinnacle of prosperity. Other countries will no longer lag behind. On one side of us is the ancient Chinese Empire, which is making significant progress in the field of science.

In many other places, a very influential religion called Islam is gaining new achievements. Far away is the land of white people called whites. Those people are slowly becoming a member society through the rise of art, and are also learning excellent martial arts. Very few Indians have visited unfamiliar lands across the seven seas, but those lands have been gifted with natural resources and natural beauty from the earth!

On the other hand, the signs of the times to come are not very bright for our country. At one time we had the blessings of Lakshmi and Saraswati, wise men believed. But it seems that soon we will be plunged into the darkness of ignorance and poverty! We are facing three serious crises ...

The first is that great empires are collapsing. The whole of North India is slowly drifting towards chaos and anarchy. The region from the Indus River to the Ganges seems to be devastated by repeated invasions. The vacuum of national governance is blurring. There is no great monarchy that can accomplish that. There is overall peace in South India, but it will not last long! The coming storm is ruining the power of the people. Exploitation of high taxes and economic competition will make the situation worse.

Second, our society is becoming puddled and rotten. In our social structure, lower castes and women do not get enough opportunities to use their talents. The glorious principles of equality and unity given by our basic texts are being forgotten. Just think, if we can't give a free and fair environment to the vast majority of the people, is there any possibility of our progress? No, then the cataclysm can happen!

Third, our culture is becoming like a tiny island. We can no longer trade and exchange ideas with the outside world. As a result of such narrow-mindedness, the people will be plunged into a never-ending valley of poverty. Even our incomplete intellectual system is becoming limited and self-centered in a short time!

Only curiosity about the world we live in can lead us to the development of mathematics, astronomy, metallurgy and medical science. But we have become the victims of mysticism and myths. If we do not develop our own science, we will not be able to reach anywhere and wander aimlessly!

If our land falls into the hands of others, the entire blame will fall on our own people. After many ages it will probably sit on its own ashes. When? I dream that after many centuries, when the world will be run on machines that are greater than calculations, our people will have a significant place in it and leave their mark on that time.

To operate machines from mathematics, the structure of a particular language has to be found like the Sanskrit of the great grammarian Panini. Why can't information be arranged in the same way that the magnificent musician Pingala has arranged the volume of music in a binary system? Tables based on ancient mathematics should be used in ready form for more effective work.

When will this happen? There will surely come a time when the use of our Brahmagupta's 'zero' in the management of the earth will become inevitable. When this mathematical dilemma grows, perhaps Indians can increase their scholarship and contribute to solving it. Only when such an 'age of knowledge' comes will our earth be happy. India has to rediscover and teach the old message of Veda Upanishad ... that 'Pragyanam Brahma!' I mean ....

'Knowledge is God!'

Readers, this text is controversial. This may not be a thousand years old. Bhaskaracharya: Well, nowadays, video proof fakes of provocative speeches come out in court.

But this vision for India seems so fresh that a patriotic pundit has accurately reviewed the problems and situation of today's India! In the name of Bhaskaracharya to embrace the truth. But no one is interested in the original Bhaskaracharya today and where does the fake shop run in his name!

But the dialogue of the Chanakya TV serial is framed here as a quote from the ancient Chanakya (Teachers are never ordinary, Pralay aur Nirman Uski God Mein Palte Hai is not the quote of Acharya Vishnugupta Kautilya, but the quote of Chandraprakash Dwivedi!) X '- who have recognized the symptoms of the huge vulnerabilities of the Indian people today!

At a time when Europe-America 'civilization' did not exist, or Islam did not rule in India, our country (technically India was not even a monopoly) was so oblivious to the importance of these two factors that states easily became slaves or made treaties. Gone. The ignorance and poverty of India which has reached the valley of collapse today, he did not see anyone from the top of the peak!

Issues like political instability and lack of strong leadership, carbs, economic competition through science, social imbalances, exploitation of women, communal divisions, class distinctions are true, but the people of India themselves will be responsible for doing a proper 'advance analysis'. Such a bitter truth is also here.

The 'binary' is the empire of computers built with the binary system of 1 and 0 and also the system and language of companies working at global level like TCS or Infosys.

Our myths contain many fictional tales of discovery. Some Daffol Shiramanis consider it to be true and subdue it in false pride. The disciple of Bhaskaracharya is the one who does not imagine. Also give an explanation of the solid and proven theories of science behind his reasoning! That is why the science statement remains more respectable than the scriptures, whose direction is the future. Not the past.

This enigmatic Bhaskaracharya has given a red light to the 'narrow interpretation of Indian culture' which has become a national disease today. If India cannot keep pace with the trends of foreign countries (read West!), Then the saying that it will collapse has become an eternal reality. But if there is any warning in all this, then it is against the mistake of forgetting science in the exploitation of philosophy and legend.

If India seems to be exploited in today's globalization, it is not the foreign companies that are responsible for it, but our indifference to research and technology for centuries. Today, science is the basis of trade, but even in the thought of India, due to the web of religiosity and constantly hurting emotions, the entry of science and art and modern freedom has been blocked! We know that the code of sitting with Afghanistan is emerging as the Badfas who do not see Gitagovind opening Kumarasambhav's page go out to do a publicity stunt with the rest of the Kama Sutra!

I wish the sages in the conversation would have studied the sages who advocated a free environment to develop natural talent instead of bigotry. Think again would be two things in our education policy!

Fast forward

If knowledge is power, then it is wisdom to realize that one does not know the truth! (Adam Grant)
