Konkona Sensharma: I will play a new game with a new gilli in a new direction

Actress Konkona Sen Sharma has won a number of awards in her directing career. His film 'The Death in the Echo' (2013) won many awards. However, even before that, Konkana was given the title of 'Mr. And Mrs. Ayre '(2006) and' Omkara '(2009). Naturally, the credit for these honors goes to his acting ability. He has also acted wonderfully in his recently released web series 'Mumbai Diaries 9/11'.

The important thing though is that the role he played in this movie is totally different than the characters he has played so far. Konkona also believes this and says that so far I have only played the roles of powerful women. But in this movie, he has played the role of 'Chitra Das' who can be called weak. Of course, his weakness was due to his previous experiences. But, he gradually overcomes his weakness and lets the strengths within him come out. We generally believe that only those who speak loudly or shout are powerful. But a person who is persecuted by people comes out of his inner pain and calms his mind and calms other victims. I really liked this character so I jumped at the chance to play it.

As my son is still young so I don’t accept a character who has to stay out of town for long. However, right now I am shooting in Vagamon, an inland part of Kerala.

The actress's 'Death in the Echo' has been an unparalleled success and many believe that it will be a sequel. But Konkona denies it, saying that 'Shutu' (the character played by Vikrant Messi) has died in it.

Even if people see an opportunity to make a sequel in it, and it is not quite impossible. But if I have to direct a film again, I will play a new game with New Gilli. The rest is mainly I am an actress. And I have some good roles on my hands. Also, I can't choose a film for directing in a hurry.
