The film is set in the beautiful locales of Uttarakhand.

'I was constantly struggling to make ends meet. The problem was that I did not even have the money to pay the doctor's fees after the treatment. I had been away from work for four years. However now the time has come that I am ready to go back to work. I have now come out of all obstacles. With 'Sumeru', I am ready to act in Bollywood again, 'said Shagufta. Not many people from Bollywood came forward to help get Shagufta out of financial trouble. However, thanking all those who helped him, Shagufta says, "I am grateful to filmmaker Rohit Shetty, actor Anupam Kher, Johnny Lever, filmmaker Ashok Padit and filmmaker Anand L. Thanks to Ray who helped me a lot. '

'I personally thank him for his kindness to me. During my hard years, I was sure that some people would help me, but nothing happened. I was convinced that these people would get the upper hand. However instead I got help from people I never expected. However, I do not feel sorry for anyone and I thank all those who are standing by me, "he said.

While Shagufta was present at a dance reality show recently, the actress was given a check of Rs 5 lakh by the team and the show's judge Madhuri Dixit, which Shagufta Ali accepted as emotional. Not only that, he has also got three films, which he has kept touching. ‘I don’t want to put more pressure on myself. Right now I have Avinash Dhyani directed film 'Soumya Ganesh' and two other films. Which is enough for me. One of the three films is a big budget one, but I can't give more details about it.
