Putting tamal leaves in the kitchen enhances the soda as well as the taste. But it is surprising to know that tamalpatra is beneficial for health and beauty.

Tamal leaves are beneficial if there are scars, blemishes or acne on the face. Make a paste of tamal leaves in a bowl or apply tamal leaves or wash your face with boiled water. Helps to keep face clean and blemish free.

Palm leaf water helps to heal the skin affected by the sun's rays. Useful in smoothing skin tone.

The use of palm leaves has been shown to be effective in keeping hair soft, supple and shiny. Boil the palm leaves in oil and apply the oil to the hair roots. Or wash the hair with boiled water.

Dandruff is removed by making a paste of tamal leaves and applying it in the hair. Mixing yoghurt in this paste also helps in maintaining moisture in the scalp and also provides nutrition.

Drying the palm leaves and making a powder of it and rubbing it on the teeth like toothpaste maintains the whiteness and shine of the teeth. It is beneficial to do it once in a week. If you have back pain for a long time, drinking tamal leaf extract gives relief. Massage with tamal leaf oil also relieves back pain.

Tamal leaf extract is beneficial for body aches due to cold. Make a bowl mixture of 10 gms tamalpatra, 10 gms ajmo and 5 gms anise. Now boil this mixture in a bowl of one liter of water. When 100-150 ml of water is left, turn off the gas and cool down. If there is a sprain on any part of the body, it is beneficial to take out the palm leaves to relieve the swelling and pain. The paste of tamal leaves is also beneficial in relieving pain.

If the vein is swollen or stretched, the palm leaf extract gives relief.

Tamal leaves are rich in copper, potassium, calcium, magnesium, selenium and aryan. It also contains antioxidants that help prevent cancer, blood clotting and serious heart diseases.
