- Seminar of Parijat - Dr. Kumarapala Desai
Life goes on uninterruptedly! Despite the momentary association of human beings with both, completely unknown to both. Both are moving, but their instincts are the cause of their neglect. What a pity man has made his life miserable. Life is real. But what about the meaning of life? The busyness of his life thwarts the true meaning of his life. Childhood, youth and old age come, but never think seriously about self-life.
What a mess we have made in life! There is no end to the blind pursuit of our outer world. It is necessary to get the necessities of life, but our whole life has become like the market of commodities and cosmetics. The load of things has to be lifted so much on the back. Anand's waist has doubled. Many hours of life are wasted behind a bad habit called 'shopping'. With the advent of 'malls' where everything could be found in one place, it was believed that shopping would no longer be a hassle and time would be saved. But it so happened that this 'shopping mall' became a time-wasting market. Scientist Benjamin Fanklin says, "If you love your life, don't be negligent about time, because there is a time that shapes your life."
But today, instead of trying to figure out the mystery of life, how many 'discounts' there are on things, the endless search to 'count'. Life is a story, but the real significance of the story is not how long it lasts, but the irony and the touching of the heart. Today the principle of making life better, faster, extra cheap and much easier is universally accepted, but it so happened that life became a burden of mental questions instead of being noble. The magic of installments and credit cards has choked the man. Paying bills and installments is his life's mission.
Made life quick, but it became so fast that the person just became self-centered. He began to look down on everything except his own progress. The measure of its progress completely excluded social service or family love. As a result, in this competitive world, a young person who is running on high breath does not have a moment to relax. Where there is no possibility of standing, where is the opportunity to meditate on life with legs crossed? As a result, he cannot share his happiness or sorrow. A small depression can lead to illness or suicide.
He has only one goal in life and that is the spark of his personal achievement. With a little bit of imperfection in it, all life seems futile and meaningless. The result of a fast life is a directionless life. Her tendency to lead a cheap, fun, and easy life has become a thing of the past. This entertainment speaks of the tricks of wasting life instead of giving life a purpose. Instead of trying to recover, they wallow in their sadness and thus, experience more failure. At that time Saint Tolstoy is remembered. He said that the true life of a human being begins when he realizes that his physical life is unstable and cannot satisfy him.
The irony or weirdness of gross entertainment is that those who enjoy it will demand more and more obesity. Comedy shows that used to come on television were a bit interesting, now they are becoming obscene programs with ambiguous dialogues. This is because gross entertainment always goes down one step at a time. With the advent of tools and facilities in the present times, it was thought that a person's life would become easier, but in reality it is becoming extremely complicated. Young people have no ideals and as a result a kind of emptiness appears. While the bright and intelligent youth are engrossed in work, the uneducated youth are trapped in laziness and negligence.
Why did this happen? Small roads became highways and why did the human mind become narrow? Why did the skyscrapers collapse and the man lose in the thick and low life? Why can't he move from normal life to an unusually high life. ? The means and means of interaction have increased in abundance, from house to house, mobile in both hands of one person, but why did the warmth of the relationship melt away?
The state of life without sight is like a cut kite flying here and there in the sky and eating goths. This increased the strength, but also reduced the quality. There were many who worked, but also became visually rare. It is not uncommon for people to get bogged down in their work, but it has become rare for people to open new horizons in their work.
Most importantly, truth, honesty, and holiness are being banished from life. The truth of life fills the water ahead of personal achievement. Adopt honesty as long as you can be honest. If it is difficult to be honest, adopt dishonesty without the slightest hesitation. The disgust towards holiness is slowly developing. Respect for the holy person, speech, scripture or place has vanished. There is aversion to tradition and indifference to spirituality. Where is the brilliance like Swami Vivekananda?
Not only sound education but his alertness and dedication too are most required. Often in the pursuit of success, a person adopts short or wrong paths. Such shorter routes are always longer.
The craze of getting rich overnight may make a person rich, but he does not get the pleasure of waking up from attainment due to his improper ways. If you look at a person who has become rich by trading honestly and look at a person who has become rich only by adopting dishonesty, then this distinction will become clear. Outwardly, the situation may seem similar to both of them, but if you go a little closer to them and peek inside them, you will realize that the short cuts and the wrong tools they have adopted keep them restless and frightened day and night. And as a result, he is constantly tormented by the fear that whatever he has achieved after a long struggle, headache or hard work, will be snatched away at any moment.
The most important thing for success in life is the planning of work. The first task is field selection. He should choose a field in which he has an interest and a desire to move forward enthusiastically.
Some people find their work vain. Either way it works dullly. Or work. As a result, it harms the company or the society, but atheist more harms the person and wastes his life in vain. Therefore, whatever field you choose, the quality in that field should be reduced. The work may be small at first, but over time it will grow into a banyan tree. A person who is so engrossed in his work loves work and even without expecting fruit, his karma yoga never confuses him in wrong or short ways. As a result, the first thing a person should do is think calmly and ask themselves which business I have taken up, on which my livelihood and progress depend. I am completely loyal to that business, right? In this I am giving my best power, right? There are many examples of individuals who have worked in a field that has become a model for the world.
The important thing is to choose a job or business that you love with all your heart. The reason for this is that there is not a single instance of a person who has laziness, negligence or carelessness having long lasting success. Even if someone criticizes you in the work of choice, do not be discouraged by it. Don't be afraid of what will happen if this fails. What others will think of themselves. Don't worry about it. Because those who criticize you today, when they see your power tomorrow, will rain flowers of praise on you.
The revelation of the moment
Everyone says that life is a game of breathing and exhaling. The game of life is over when the breathing stops and the exhalation stops, but in fact life is an art of faith beyond breath and exhalation. Not only the player who plays the game of breath and exhalation dies, but also the person who has faith with the breath and exhale is always remembered. On the battlefield of Kurukshetra, this faith was manifested by Sarathi Lord Krishna in the distance of Gandhivadhari Arjuna and by inspiring his confidence, he inspired for war.
Confidence is the backbone of human endurance. Based on that, they face disasters, calamities and challenges fearlessly. Instead of serving helpless silence against deadly injustice, they shout out loud. Instead of trying to recover, they wallow in their sadness and thus, experience more failure.
When the time comes, there is a clash in front of a huge crowd like 'Eklo Jaane Re'. Crowds have heads, but not brains. It stands firm against its impulses. No matter how opposite the situation may be, it does not go its own way. That is why Swami Vivekananda said, 'The old religions used to say that one who does not have faith in God is an atheist. While today's religion says, 'He who does not have faith in himself is really an atheist.' Let us become believers with the light of self-strength.
