Tapasviratno of Jain Sangh.

- Eye oyster, distance pearl-Acharya Shri Vatsalyadeep Suriji

- Lord Mahavira was asked what is the benefit of doing penance? Then Lord Mahavira said that penance is the best tool to get rid of the sinful deeds clinging to the soul.

The Jain Sangh is a treasure trove of ascetics who have never been imagined by the people of the world. In the Jain Sangh, especially the sadhviji gods and sisters perform special and rare penances. Even if we just write the name, this article will be completed. Seeing these ascetics, it seems that they were born to do penance. No worries about eating or drinking. Don't fall for the taste. These devotees strive hard to purify the mind by giving pain to the body and to keep on striving for the reduction of vices from life and the rhythm of sins on the soul. Even after doing so much penance, seeing the happiness of his mind, seeing the radiance on his face, one becomes aura.

Now a Sadhviji Maharaj performed a penance called Gun Sanvatsar. Millions of Jains have not even heard the name of this tapa. In the 200 year history from Lord Mahavira till today, hardly any ascetics have done this penance. 18 months (90 days). There are 303 fasts in Tap. Sadhviji Maharaj Shantarsathiji who performed such a special penance. He is amazed to see his calmness when he did penance. Jainism is a religion of penance and renunciation. Seeing these ascetics, it seems that they have achieved this basic purpose of Jainism in life. Even after such special penance, when their equality is required, it happens that this becomes possible only if religion is manifested in life. Nothing but the haste of cradle, the worry of not eating and drinking and the constant effort to enlighten the soul only through penance.

The names of two other sadhviji gods who performed similar special penances were also found out. That tapa is called 'Bhadra Tapa'. Sadhviji Apurvarsashreeji Maharaj and Sadhviji Shri Shivarsashreeji Maharaj, these two sadhvijis have performed this penance. However, there are many monks and nuns who do bhadratap. There is fasting for 100 days.

Even after fasting, his physical strength does not waver. But self-confidence increases. The above three sadhviji gods are from Banaskantha district. Even so, Banaskantha district is a religious district for Jains. The area of Vav Panth is also a special religious area.

Lord Mahavira performed many penances during his initiation life. Who knows that Diksha lived a wonderful life in Gautamaswami. From the first day of Diksha for 60 years in a row, this sixth, that is, 6 days of fasting, he performed the sixth devotion to God in such a way that even today the deeds of a person working in the name of Gautamswami Maharaj are successful . Even after Gautamswamiji Maharaj, there have been many ascetics in these 200 years. Lastly, there have been great men who have done as much as 200 lines of penance. When we remember all this, we are instinctively joined hands.

Lord Mahavira was asked what is the benefit of doing such a special penance? Then Lord Mahavira said that penance is the best tool to get rid of the sinful deeds clinging to the soul. Even in this, if the person performs this penance with utmost sincerity keeping equality, then he gets rid of the bhav bhraman of the world and gets a position like Mokshapad.

Vijay Hirsuriji Maharaj, who preached to Akbar Badshah 200 years ago, was an influential ruler but it is said that he was also a great ascetic. He did 8000 (8 fasts) in his life. The recent fierce ascetic Kumudchandrasuri Maharaj will never be forgotten. His devotees and disciples identify him as Tapasvi Maharaj.

Shri Rajhansuri Maharaj spoke about this ascetic Sadhviji Maharaj of the community of Kalikundtirthoddharak Shri Rajendrasurishwarji Maharaj. So I decided to write this article. There are four sects in Jainism. And in all four sects there is the wonderful glory of tapa. Dry wood does not take long to swim in water. In the same way, it does not take long for a soul freed from karma to swim in the world.
