New ideas
Every manager or entrepreneur will tell you that new ideas are essential for starting a business. This is true of them but where to get new ideas? Businesses established by imitating other businesses run when there is a shortage of goods but close in the long run. Disney CEO Michael Eisner has always said that the most important thing in business is to innovate and follow. Other than that you will always find people for business operations.
Henry Ford's blink
Henry Forden took the assembly line manufacturing process by storm in the early decades of the 20th century, and he put assembly line production into practice, developing a culture of mass manufacturing and mass marketing in the United States. Pilkington's revolutionary idea of making a float glass flashed when he saw his wife washing clothes and saw foam and bubbles from soapy water scattering evenly on the surface of the water. The 3M company's post-it notes are lightly piled on the paper and can be lightly removed, from which the American company made millions of dollars. The flashback to the idea came to him when a bookmark from this employee's book slipped repeatedly. Not only in the field of new product but also in the world of education professors give birth to new ideas. Stanford University Management Profit Richard Pascal In the 180's, according to the US and Japanese, the idea of business could come to anyone. For him, a high position in the company, high education, long experience or PhD degree is not mandatory. The following employees may also come up with new ideas. The creative person extraordinarily combines (or connects) two or more different ideas or seemingly different things or events in his mind. The inventor of a folding bicycle saw a car and a bicycle moving along a road, and he wondered how to incorporate a bicycle into a car design. The idea of a folding bicycle thus arose from the union of two different ideas (car and bicycle). No race, caste, religion or nation or class has a monopoly on new ideas.
This raises the question, if every person has potential creativity and it is a feature of human brain function then what kind of culture should the company create so that the employees of the company give birth to new ideas about business? It is important to remember that some discoveries are basic, such as the discovery of the structure of human life, the discovery of electrons, or the discovery of the law of gravity. In comparison, some inventions may be incremental. After the discovery of nylon, the discovery of decron or rayon or terivin can be considered as incremental discovery.
Teamwork in the company
New ideas can be born if teamwork is formed from different departments of the company. These are called cross-functional teams as cross-discipline. But that is only possible if such teams get challenging work. Because of such challenging tasks the team can focus on a specific problem. The discussion of a team with routine tasks without challenges is also routine. There are departmental or sectional teams for day to day problems but for challenging tasks i.e. strategizing work requires individuals with different backgrounds. Brain Rstomig's technique for gaining new ideas has largely proved successful. New ideas arise during the brainstorming process and any new ideas that arise during it are not ridiculed. This allows team members to have totally practical or dreamy or eccentric thoughts in brainstorming sessions and we know that often new successful ideas seem quite eccentric at first. The idea that man could fly in the air with a mechanical device came to brothers Oliver and Wilver Wright of America, and others laughed at them. But today the airline industry occupies a place among the largest industries in the world.
Building a good team is hard work
The hardest part is building a team with new ideas. It is a matter of common sense that there should be creative people in this team building but the top management does not know who the creative people of the company are. Top management shows a team of intelligent and diligent managers but hard work and intelligence and creativity are two different things. Extremely intelligent people are not always creative. Indian company culture is 'controlling'. Of course companies like Tata, Infosys, Torrent Pharmaceuticals or Torrent Power have great creativity but they are exceptional.
