- Rupali Ganguly and her brother Vijay are working in different fields in the world of entertainment. While Rupali is playing the mane of her acting, Vijay is performing the magic of her choreography.
It is not a new thing that many siblings or two sisters are acting in Hindi film industry. But actress Rupali Ganguly, who is playing the role of 'Anupama' in 'Anupama', which is at the peak of popularity at the present stage, and her brother Vijay are working in different fields in the world of entertainment. Vijay is playing the magic of his choreography where Rupali is playing the mane of her acting. Very few people are aware that these siblings started their career by working as child actors in their father Anil Ganguly's film 'Saheb'. The movie starred Anil Kapoor and Amrita Singh. "When we were young, I always thought that Vijay would be an actor," says Rupali. Because I used to write small comedy and act on it. He would also dance while standing in front of the TV. She loved to dance to Michael Jackson's songs. However, he never considered choreography. But seeing her passion for dance, I once told her to join a dance class. And he joined a well-known dance academy. He then became a dance instructor. Today I am proud to say that he has choreographed for the top actors of Bollywood.
Rupali's younger brother Vijay is also very fond of his sister. He is proud of his achievements. He says that it is a matter of pride for me that Rupali is playing the role of a dancer in 'Anupama'. In fact, in 'Anupama', he is even more special than the dancer. He is a perfect performer. He further says that all the credit for the destination I am at today goes to Rupali. It was he who inspired me to take up dance training. In the same way, he introduced me to Anurag Basu. And that's why I got the chance to choreograph Ranbir Kapoor in 'Jagga Jasoos'. He further says that in addition to the songs of 'Love Aajkal', I also choreographed Sara Ali Khan in 'Galat'. Rupali and I worked in my father's film 'Saheb' just for fun. But I never dreamed that Rupali would grow up to be such a good actor and that I would develop into a choreographer.
Rupali wants her brother to choreograph her song one day. "At the present stage, we are only happy to make reels," he says. We recently created a reel on the title track of 'Badhai Do'.
