Russia first used the bomb on September 11, 2006. America has also used this bomb. The word thermobaric comes from the Greek word, 'thermos' meaning heat or 'heat' and 'baros' meaning 'pressure'. In practice, a thermobaric weapon is a weapon that explodes high-temperature using the effects of temperature and pressure on a target. The process in a thermobaric bomb takes place in two stages. In the first stage a cloud is formed which is formed by a cloud powder or liquid chemical. In the second stage a second process takes place.

Although the shock waves caused by these bombs are not as strong as those of conventional explosions, they can cause more damage because the shock waves generated by the explosion of these bombs last longer. Also, as we move away, its intensity decreases but it decreases very slowly.
