The king of Pa Tan was Siddharraj Jaysingh Mahapratapi. The pundits were curious, generous and knew the limits of the religion of the people. In his Rajya Sabha, many plaintiffs, poets and literary lovers were lying in wait.
Acharya Hemchandra arrived in the king's capital. Once upon a time, on a elephant ride, Rasik Raja Siddharth saw the majestic man on the road. The king raised his elephant and said humbly in a candid manner: 'Muniraj! Good Patan adorned. I am satisfied with darshan. If I request to say something, I will not count it bold. Would you like a taste of your voice? '
As soon as he got the chance, this skilled man said: 'Siddharaj! Run this Tara Gajraj back and forth without any hesitation. The giants that hold the earth, no matter what. Now that you have taken over the whole earth, who cares about those giants? '
As soon as he heard this, the clever and penetrating king was very satisfied. From then on, Acharya started going to the Raj Sabha every day to introduce Raja Siddharth. And in this way a close friendship developed between the two.
Dharmagosthi, Gyanagosthi used to take place between Raja and Acharya. Hemchandra completely satisfied many poets, shepherds, captives coming from outside in the king's court. Thus the success story of Raja and Acharya began to be sung everywhere.
Once Siddharth decided to emigrate. He thought it would be better to go on a pilgrimage to Somnath, Girnar and Shatrunjay. Then a large contingent emerged from Patan with no elephants, horses, camels, oxen and vehicles. The king requested Acharya to use Sukhasana; But since it is his custom to travel only on foot, the principal did not ask him to do so.
The union roared like the sea, marching, camping and walking; And Shatrunjay traveled to Girnar and reached Somnath happily. The Sangh and the Raja worshiped Lord Somnath and the Acharya also praised Lord Somnath with full devotion.
The verses recited by Acharya Gadgad Kanthe in the temple of Shri Somnathji are as follows:
Yatra tatra samay yatha tatha
Yongsi Songtyabhidhaya Yaya Taya.
वीतदोषकलुष स चेद् भवान्
One God. नमोङस्तु ते ।।
Bhavavijangkurjanana ragadhan ksyamupagata yasya.
Brahma or Vishnurva Haro Jino or Namastasmai.
Meaning - 'At any time, in any way and with any name that Vitraag is the same, it is you, O God! My greetings to you. '
"Greetings to those who have increased the tradition of the world, those whose faults like raga etc. have been depleted, be it Brahma, Vishnu, Mahadev or Jin - whatever."
- Pt. Bechardas Doshi
