- Even to give an opinion about the average person, our own "vision", our own neutrality, the qualification of our "identity" is very important.
A few years ago there was a public program in Ma Lad in the abode of Pragnyachakshu Sant Shri Rambhadracharyaji. Planning was done on sacred subjects like Bhagwat, Ramayana. Distinguished storytellers on Bhagavat-Ramayana spoke. The words spoken by a person on this auspicious occasion have been difficult for many years. "These texts have given us identity, livelihood and even adoration for a long time," he says.
Didn't like this sound at all.
There is a lot of respect for the medium of storytelling and some venerable storytellers who have a very noble effect on the public mind. So this should not be misunderstood.
But it is worth noting that certain subjects have become a very handy weapon for so-called spiritual speakers. People also don't like to delve deeper into those topics. It's like constantly chewing gum!
This is a very popular topic: "Attributes of a Guru or a Saint". Such topics are drawn like rubber, with very spicy, sentimental examples and 'recycled' words, endless possibilities to present with song-music!
Those who go out to "survey" the village after learning the characteristics of sainthood, should look at their own merits or qualifications once and for all, however, any Dala Tarwadi will find his qualifications the best! This is a situation where a judge who fails an interview, a judgment that the interviewer was not fit, announces a verdict.
Even our own "vision", our own neutrality, our "identity" qualification are essential for giving an opinion about an average person, then a general ready-to-measure table like eggplant, potato or vegetable to measure personality like "saint". Is there such a criterion? We are walking around chanting "Vaishnava people call him who, pain knows strangers". If a person is feeding pigeons, is seen helping the sick in the neighborhood, would you give him the nickname "Vaishnavajan"? Do you even have a thermometer to identify the person who is abusing their helpless parents or in-laws in their home?
The characteristics of a good man, a saint, are only a 'quality control test' of self-examination. Oops! Self-examination is also possible for very few!
The important point is that the sainthood has nothing to do with dress, not with a sectarian brand or chanting record, or with ritual, all these external traits can be cultivated by any evil person. The sainthood is an internal subject and only one who is ascending internally in the direction of a sainthood can recognize a saint!
