To live lightly moment by moment, to live moment by moment fully

- About you and me - Hansal Bhachech

- If these days you are thinking that 'the whole year has passed without knowing where it has gone and yet another Diwali has passed and the new year has come' - then understand that you have been running mechanically all year, you have failed to enjoy it to your heart's content. Gone!

At fifty-one minutes past seven in the evening, we were driving from Akureyri to Keflavik in Iceland, and over a bend the horizon opened up before us. The sun, half-hidden in the clouds among the saffron lisotas in the ruddy sky, faced us, its redness suffused our carriage. The scene of sunrise or sunset has always driven me crazy, I could never live without capturing these morning or evening moments on camera. The sunrise or sunset wherever I've been, whatever happens to be available, is imprinted on my hard-drive. Numerous scenes of our city also came in it. The colors of the sky at this time have always connected me with nature. Took the car to the service road to take a photo of the sunset, eyes fixed on the camera lens and lines started playing in the mind.

It's morning, it's evening

Age is the same...

Who knows why, but when the talk of sunrise or sunset comes out, these verses come to mind, the mind has become a follower. It is about the past. Thus, whether it is at the time of rising or setting, the sun does not stay long on the horizon. Enjoy it to your heart's content or capture it on camera, it's only a matter of minutes. We always think that we do not know where the sun rises or sets.

Time passes, you don't even know. Fast in happiness and slow in sorrow, but it passes. Years ago life was short but seemed long due to lack of multi-tasking, now life is long but seems short due to too many activities and multi-tasking. There will be a sense of 'Diwali has come and gone' as the ad-laden print will become lighter in weight and less in pages. I don't know where the whole year passed and another Diwali came and went! Many Diwalis went by in such ignorance. Time is a fleeting ghost, to catch it means to live full of mind. Theoretically, everyone wants to live to the fullest, moment to moment, but practically, very few do; There is power in living with a soft palate. This is not possible without living in the present and most people do not have the art of living in the present! Even so, living in the present is not easy, mental clarity, sobriety and perseverance are essential to live in the present. Most of the individuals live their memories of the past or dreams of the future. People living in the past tend to be negative and depressed. Whereas, the mood of those living in the future is filled with insecurity and arrogance. Living in the present is possible only when there is a past without regrets and a future without worries. In most cases man lives stuck in the past or wanders into the future and time rushes forward in his head. When you suddenly realize that time has passed for some reason, you have to run in vain with regret in your fist. In fact, life does not stand still even when we have time to think about it, it keeps us running and we keep running. The thing about sick and depressed people is different, the time running ahead also sits with them as if they are sick or depressed, their time does not pass!

Let's give a new idea in the new year, keep it in your mind if you like it, and if you don't like it, get stuck with this print. If these days you are thinking that 'one more Diwali has passed without knowing where the whole year has passed and the new year has come' - then understand that you have been running on the clock for the whole year, you have failed to enjoy it to your heart's content. . If you don't want the next Diwali to come and go and you don't know where the year will pass, you have to develop the habit of living in the present. No matter how busy you are, you have to take time for yourself and talk to your thoughts, make friends. All this becomes automatic only by gathering oneself, an atmosphere of inner reconciliation is created, past regrets and worries of the future begin to weaken and the mind becomes alive in the present. If you understand, this is the Mahavara of living consciously, not years or Diwalis in the rest of your life, and if you have not opened an account with yourself and for yourself, open it and start living before the end of your life. Happy New Year...

Full stop:

A spoken word poem today...

to live lightly moment by moment,

Living moment to moment...

Putting the head down

to keep the heart light,

Leave the worries of the world

To live happily...

In minor setbacks

to be arrogant,

Forgive everyone

Live the concert...

By having a lamp inside

keeping the distance clear,

We are happy and sad

Living every moment, every moment...

to live lightly moment by moment,

Living moment to moment...
