Why did Parineeti's career collapse?

Bobo says in a pained voice, 'I actually wanted to enter by wrapping the tricolor, but it was considered imprudent to do such a gesture, so I hung a saffron-green dupatta over the white kurta.'

This is also Yashraj's. Actually, this was supposed to be Parineeti's debut film, as she was the lead heroine. Opposite him was newcomer Arjun Kapoor. The movie went well. It has been proved that Parineeti is an excellent performer. If anyone still had a little doubt, his third film removed that too. It was 'Pure Desi Romance'. Parineeti's fourth film is 'Hasi To Fansi'. The film was a bit odd, but everyone liked it. Giving four back-to-back hits at the start of a career is no small feat. Parineeti Chopra and Alia Bhatt's career started almost together. Parineeti's 'Ishaqzaade' and Alia's debut film 'Student of the Year' both came in 2012. Parineeti was backed by Yashraj banner, while Alia was backed by Dharma Productions.

Mokan started in 2014. Two of Parineeti's films flopped - 'Daawat-e-Ishq' and 'Kill Dil'. This is the first experience of failure for Parineeti. In an interview, he says, 'Suddenly I became very strict. I bought a big flat in Mumbai with a huge amount. In the end, my love affair was also broken in the same period. So I got solid shocks on both personal and professional levels. I was overwhelmed by Kochla. I was eating well, I could not sleep. I stopped taking people for granted. Living in Punjab, I barely spoke to my parents once in two weeks. There was only my brother, with whom I used to communicate. I sleep whenever I want, wake up whenever I want, watch TV for hours and hours. No awareness of day and night. I was like a zombie in a way.'

Parineeti's mental condition lasted for one and a half to two years. Whether you are Aamir or Shah Rukh, you can take a gap of two or three years, but if your career has just started and you suddenly disappear like this, it will have huge consequences. During these two years, Parineeti's body gradually became so disfigured that she used to tremble when she saw herself in the mirror. He finally took control of his life and signed two films - 'Mari Pyari Bindu' and 'Golmaal-Four' (both 2017).

There was no end to Parineeti's misery. The hero of 'Meri Pyari Bindu' was Ayushmann Khurrana, but the film did not work. Didn't work at all. If there was any girl in place of Parineeti in the film of 'Golmaal' series, nothing would have changed. The success of 'Golmaal-4' did not benefit Parineeti. What angered Parineeti was that she was offered a blockbuster film like 'Piku' (2015), which she turned down. Alas, she was also shortlisted for Salman Khan's superhit 'Sultan' (2016). Instead of focusing on such films, she continued to do junk films.

On the other hand, Alia was giving successful films like 'Highway', 'Two States', 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniyaan', 'Udta Punjab'. On the other hand, Parineeti was proving to be a constant troublemaker. 'Namaste England' (2018), the Parineeti-Arjun starrer of the hit film 'Namaste London', flopped badly. Meanwhile, there was an era of small town locales in Bollywood. So Parineeti teamed up with Siddharth Malhotra and made a film called 'Jabariya Jodi' (2019), but it also flopped. Her 'The Girl on the Train' (2021) was streamed on OTT after the digital medium opened up, but how many people have seen this film? Last year 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar' flopped and 'Saina' was a super flop...and now comes 'Code Name: Tiranga' which flopped badly.

There was a hope that the upcoming film 'Animal' with Ranbir Kapoor would bring some miracle. Now it is known that Rashmika Mandana has been arranged in her place. Parineeti now has a Sooraj Barjatya upcoming film titled 'Unchai'. Let's see if Parineeti's career goes back to the heights with this film.

Bobo wipes the tears from his eyes with an orange dupatta and says, 'Such a good actress, but she kept getting beaten up in selecting scripts. Parineeti has no mentor like Karan Johar.
