- Dew became Moti-Kumarapal Desai
What a deep meaning is hidden in that story of Mahabharata! As the five Pandavas were passing through the forest, Dharmaraja Yudhishthira felt thirsty. Sahadev went to fetch water for them. Searching, he reached a lake and went to draw water. There the Yaksha in the lake said,
'Hey! Be careful. Answer my question first. Only then can I fill water from this lake. This lake is mine and no one has the right to draw water from the lake except on my leave.'
If Sahdev wants to fill water, why is there any need to give a reply? He started filling the water without paying any attention to the Yaksha's words.
Yaksha's anger could not be overcome. In the splendor of its power, Sahadeva, going to draw water, fell on the ground, and died in a few minutes.
Even though a lot of time had passed, Sahadev did not come. So Arjuna went to fetch water for his elder brother. After that Bhima left but everyone was in the same situation.
Dharmaraj's worry did not go away as no one who had gone to fetch water came back. They went in search of themselves. Then he saw the four brothers lying on the bank of the lake. The Yaksha Dharmaraja of the lake said,
'These brothers of yours ignored me in pride. As a result, the condition of all four has become like this. If you also try to drink water without answering my question, you will also be in a similar situation.'
Yudhishthira answered each of Yaksha's questions. Yaksha was satisfied. Was happy too. he said,
'Of these four brothers, you name, I will kill him alive.'
Yudhishthira thought. As to which of the four brothers to bring to life, it was problematic. Arjuna was a Gandhian who was useful with strength and power.
Bhima's strength was equally needed, but there it occurred to Dharmaraj that I am one of the sons of my mother Kunta alive. Therefore I should demand that one of the sons of the other mother Madri should be saved alive.
Dharmaraja Yudhishthira made Aparama's son alive instead of Arjuna or Bhima which he wanted.
True religion is that which thinks of others instead of self. A man bent on his own happiness worships selfishness. A man who thinks of Paraka realizes Paramartha.
True religion is that which contemplates the end, it is the work of religion to enlighten those who are most sad, those who are most confused and confused. Religion first thinks of the poor, the afflicted, the downtrodden and the downtrodden. That which does not run in the face of human calamity is not religion but unrighteousness.
