Darkness at dusk.

Whether American or tribal. In Swamishri's yoga, the evils of those who come are destroyed. There, Sonalvarana Prabhat smiles. Swamishri's hand gives abhayadaan to all. Swamishri's heart embraces all.

This saint is Parampujya Pramukhswami Maharaj. Lalu Batli, who lost his fortune, got a new caddy. God reigned in Lalu's heart on the occasion of the idolatry of Selvas, the capital of Dadaranagar Haveli. Lalu, who used to sleep on the pillow of a liquor bottle, used to sleep today with a garland in his hand. The wife was surprised to see the addict husband sleeping like this while chanting the 'Swaminarayan' mantra. Even the neighbors were surprised by this unexpected change.

Lalubhai's honesty while serving in the telephone exchange is still applauded by everyone. Son Ashok also got cultured by his father. Even today, the child Ashoka speaks the words of more than five hundred lords.

This is the true story of a tribal family growing up in the hills of South Gujarat and its wilderness. Even this wilderness like an underdeveloped part of society has not gone out of Swamishri's grace. During the Portuguese rule, the area of Dadaranagarahveli remained undeveloped under the rule of the authorities. Also, due to the prohibition of religious and ritualistic practices, the wave of Indian culture that had survived has faded away.

But Swamishri and Saints have brought about a new revolution by constantly wandering among these nappy-wearing and ignorant tribes. By freeing them from the slavery of witchcraft, ignorance and addictions, the dormant yeast of Hindu culture has been awakened in them.

The saints have put their standard on a high level by constantly working from hut to hut. Due to the affection of the saints, their release from the costly slavery of addictions has naturally raised their economic standard. The salary of Khushalbhai, caught in the liquor trap, never reached home. After being painted with the color of Satsang, they conduct business with skill in the present. Where once there were dilapidated shacks, there are now solid houses. The sense and power to dress instead of wearing nothing is cultivated.

With the divine inspiration of Swamishri, the saints brought out the latent energies of the rising generation of tribal youth and educated them.

Ritual springs started. The real need was Sanskardhan. Saints provided that. Satsang education started imparting education through examination. Adivasi youths who once could read and write can also depict the subtleties of philosophy. If you listen to the tribal youth like Nanubhai, Ramubhai or Lakshmanabhai Mikuliya of Kavi village giving lectures in the institute's camps, you will be amazed.

When these youth-children present their cultural dances in front of thousands of people from the stage of conventions or festivals held at the international level, the love towards Swamishri that is embedded in their art is absorbed by everyone.

Scholarship and hostel facilities are also provided by the institute for the educational upliftment of these tribal youth.

The Sri Aksharpurushottam Temple of Selvas has become the main center for the overall development of the tribals. Many developmental activities like public awareness programs, diagnosis, treatment yajnas, cultural programs, friendship ceremonies, education camps, child-youth-elderly groups, women's groups, rites centers, leadership training camps, relief activities or home industries have been carried out with the inspiration of Swamishri. Day by day new doors of tribal upliftment are being opened through such activities.
