Mahabharata of characters.

- A part-time master tailor

- Drona's own two disciples - Ashwatthama and Arjuna - yet Arjuna shows wisdom along with learning, stands on the side of truth thus becoming a unique character of 'Mahabharata'

Sir, 'Mahabharata' and 'Ramayana' are two such epics of ours from which one can get as much and as little as one wants. May he who desires good receive good, and he who desires evil may receive evil. Alas, if we try to understand only a few characters, then the true map of life will be at hand. Let it be like meeting the Ganges while sitting at home. The well-known characters of 'Mahabharata' are like that.

Yudhishthira seems to be a character who apparently does nothing special to anyone. But the truth is that he is a more active character from within. His Karma-Dharma-Niti-Sach is such that no one could stop his path to heaven. Mata Kunta has been hiding the secret about Karna, but finally at the right time she clearly tells Mata. They felt female pain while speaking Krishna's 'naro va kunjaro' language. Yudhishthira therefore floats above all in 'Mahabharata' as a Dharma king.

Thinking of a philanthropist and a great warrior like 'Karna', it seems that if a man has everything but does not have religion, then everything becomes a failure. Iniquity may be attractive for some time, it may seem greedy but in the end one has to bear the consequences. Karna therefore becomes helpless at the moment of trial. Weapons fail, boons fail. Vidya also betrays. A seemingly great character ends up taking the path of lawlessness because of Duryodhana's friendship. Krishna needed attraction for such Karna, but no respect Krishna clearly says that on the battlefield but true.

When we think of Dhritarashtra, Kauravas and to some extent Gandhari, many truths come to mind. If the child is not properly groomed or brought up, if it is not told at the right time, and if its faults are hidden instead of exposed, if it does not confess its fault, then such children and their parents are all waiting for their own destruction. The company of such durijans destroys even Gandhari. Dhritarashtra's inner blindness of greed-lust-work-ignorance becomes destructive. This is also true of a guru-warrior like Drona. In Aswatthama's upbringing, he is consumed by love for his son. His proud nature also comes in the way, along with the same color - he continues to show it while remaining proud. As a result, as a father, as a warrior, as a person, he becomes a failure.

The character of Bhishmapitamah is the authority of everyone's respect. In many ways it is also indifferent. But look, how he promised that he is dusting his life with his own hands! That is why he is constrained even though he wants to stop the likes of Dhritarashtra and Duryodhana or when Draupadi wears clothes. Despite his love for the Pandavas, he could not openly admit it. A wise-spirited character is overpowered.

Duryodhana's character is becoming the epitome of evil. The association of bad people, wealth and abuse of power, anger, ego, all these get together, when one does not get enough rites, how one prematurely scatters one's life and others too can be understood by thinking about the character of Duryodhana.

Shakuni is also remembered here. Shakuni's character has also become a symbol of deception-deceit-deception. That is why we have expressions like 'Mamo Kansa' or 'Mamo Shakuni' there. Sometimes compromises are necessary in life, sometimes we have to compromise even if we don't want to. But Shakuni's character could not understand that. In the heat of vengeance, he harassed the Pandavas by remaining elusive. Duryodhana and Dhritarashtra - keep misguiding Gandhari as well. Cheating was his life. As a result it sinks, but it sinks the Kauravakool.

A lot can be gleaned from Arjuna's character as well. It is the favorite character not only of Krishna, but of all of us. This is the Varam Yodha, he walks on the path of dharma, along with Krsna he keeps away from me and the truth. He has compassion for relatives, love for ancestors, devotion to family, respects every promise of Krishna as a supreme disciple. But the biggest thing is the knowledge acquired in the right way. Drona's own two disciples - Ashwatthama and Arjuna - yet Arjuna shows wisdom along with learning, stands on the side of truth thus becoming a unique character of 'Mahabharata'. Gita Gaya Krishna has also been expanding to all of us with the help of Arjuna's character. What kind of discipleship is like, what kind of ghatghoont it demands, everything can be understood only from the character of Arjuna.

Our epics have time and again explained the true meaning of spirituality and life to us through their characters.
