Suicidal thoughts are not just psychological cowardice. Even courageous people sometimes commit suicide. But if suicide is recognized as a mental illness, then it can be solved automatically. Suicidal thoughts are sometimes very fleeting. Or is an impulsive process. Whenever a person has thoughts of suicide, at that moment if he diverts his mind e.g. Moving quickly, making a phone call, engaging in a favorite activity, seeking help from a personal person, contacting a helpline. So most suicides can be avoided.

Most research has confirmed that suicide is a mental illness. The treatment of which is fully available. Fortunately, even here, the facilities for mental treatment have increased a lot. Anyone having suicidal thoughts should seek help as soon as it is available.

Apart from this, people suffering from mental as well as physical problems for a long time are also haunted by thoughts of suicide. Such persons should also consult a specialist before treatment so as to get rid of suicidal thoughts quickly.
